The 50k capacity Wembley option has to be the one that we opt for. Nothing else seems practical or realistic and this one makes clear sense as it's relatively local and can accommodate a healthy number of fans for a club of our size.
There may be significant cost implications of such a move but...
It would have to involve a pretty drastic and widespread demolition of buildings if the new stadium were to be built around the Hale. From a look at Google Maps, the Hale retail site and a few Warner film intro style industrial units could make way for a possible stadium - but how many CPOs...
1060 re Jermaine Jenas, probably...
In terms of a new stadium, things really have to progress this year. Otherwise we won't have the infrastructure in place to keep up with the big boys, mediocrity will become commonplace once again (many more 0-0 draws and 3-2 losses at Bolton to look...
Somewhere around Tottenham's best and most well known transport hub, Tottenham Hale, would have been ideal. But we missed the boat with that one somehow, and allowed a developer to build on prime football stadia land!
Sorry old chap, I'm from Chelmsford so haven't been within the vicinity of the Hale for a while. Never mind we should have got in first a long time ago.
With your extensive knowledge of the area SS57, have you any ideas of any possible alternative sites for a new stadium?
I am just wondering if anyone could tell me whether any sites around Tottenham Hale were looked at by the club before they settled on the NDP site for the new stadium?
I'm not sure whether there are suitable/available sites within the area? But seeing as though it is, by far, the site best...
Levy made it clear that transport links are essential to the location of our new stadium. If we are to stay in Tottenham, where is the location best served by public transport?
A site near to Tottenham Hale, served by the Victoria line and National Rail links, would appear to be the best bet...
Why not think outside of the box and play Naughton when Lennon's not available? The lad is similarly super-quick and can cross from what I've seen of him; he should have been on the bench on Saturday to cover both the RB and RM slots.
Great stuff, Matty P. It's good to have some proper insight into the progress of this, as the new stadium is undoubtedly the most important thing to happen to the club in years and will give us our most realistic chance of breaking into the top four.
The transport issue is something that they...
Townsend was the one for me who really stood out against the Young Scum a couple of weeks ago. He looked pretty sharp with an ability to put in a curling cross - the fundamentals of a successful winger.
The ideal scenario would be for him to have a good loan spell, come back and get a game or...
