I’ve posted a reply with media reports of their attitude problems.
I’ve been a member on here circa 20 years and in that time I a long with many others have been around when the attitude of various players, good or bad have been discussed. These were the players that came to mind.
Whereas my...
Stop trying to make an issue of a purely football comment. For your reference - example of issues with said players are below.
No one should have to make a comment re various players and have to insert a disclaimer to not upset people who want to twist what was said or see something that isn’t...
Benoit said he hated playing football, it was just an easy living for him.
Aurier was nuts.
Kaboul was part of the trouble makers who I can’t remember the manager at the time, had to get rid of.
What I find incredibly frustrating is early season and occasionally over the last few weeks, Ange has stated how he likes his wide forwards to get in behind the full back, put in a low cross and try and get on the end of it. This has actually worked whether it be Son, Richarlison, Werner...
Bissouma gives off Adebayor, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Aurier and Ndombele vibes… has the talent but not the mindset. There shouldn’t be any place in Ange’s squad for players with a lax attitude.
It’s nothing to do with entitlement. We all expected bumps in the road, more so early season with gradual progress as the season went on. However, after an above expectations start we’ve started to go backwards at a rate of knots. Ange’s tactics have been figured out and the opposition are...
I remember a Maddison interview where he said he can’t play his natural game with Udogie and Porro tucked in, taking up the space he normally moves into.
In addition to this, early season Udogie was roaring down the wing whereas now he runs so far, stops and lays the ball off. Whereas Porro has...
Hugo was a leader but he didn’t dominate his penalty area from corners either.
In Vicario’s defence I’ve only seen on a couple of occasions where our players have tried to put themselves between Vicario and the opposition. The rest of the time he’s just been left to fend for himself. What’s our...
I’m sure with Kane we would have conceded less goals too as he was excellent at defending corners. Without him we’re very vulnerable from both corners and free kicks as outside of our two centre backs and may be Udogie, everyone else is soft as shit and woeful in the air.
Losing Kane has been an unmitigated disaster.
- Massive personality
- Fan favourite
- Creative
- Lethal finisher
- Offensively and Defensively aerially dominant
- Team player
Kane impacted the team at both ends of the pitch.
We’ve to date failed to replace all of the areas he once...
Bale - pace, power, stunning striker of the ball
Modric and VDV - technical masters
We’ve no one at the mo who comes anywhere near to replicating the above 3 players.
We’ve no idea how he will develop but Bergvall looks to be the only player in our ranks (once he arrives) to look like he has...
