So did the volatile Kane try to twat Poch but Verts threw himself in the line of fire protecting his mentor, receiving a shiner along the way? But was benched afterwards when Poch realised Verts had been trying to bang the ghost of Eriksen’s real hair throughout the whole summer? Then Eriksen was benched for goosing GLC, before Toby man-smothered the fragile body of KWP, laying him out in a fusion of sweat and eroticism for many weeks, just because he fancied the madness of Serge for some weeks? Fortunately Daniel Levy arrived just in time to insist Poch sign an edict that he will smile more and, where possible, give the broken Victor more game time?

I’ll leave Sir Alex to speak for himself on this topic. He famously said (when reflecting on his success and longevity)...

“I believe that the cycle of a successful team lasts maybe four years and then some change is needed. So we tried to visualise the team three or four years ahead and make decisions accordingly. Because I was at United for such a long time, I could afford to plan ahead. I was very fortunate in that respect. The hardest thing is to let go of a player who has been a great guy – but all the evidence is on the field."

What I have been saying is that teams need to change every 3 or 4 years otherwise players become stale. The majority of our matchday players used so far this season are now into their 6th season with Poch. I’m not blaming Poch, I’m blaming Poch and Levy. But the whole first team inc. the manager are stale and do not have the same positive energy of 2015/16 or 2016/17.

I don’t disagree with you, but the differences between us and Utd are that they were proactive in the transfer market when evolving the team. Of course, it’s easier to do that when you have the pull and financial muscle of Utd. Nevertheless, they ensured their team building was largely smooth. They certainly didn’t go 2 transfer windows without any players coming in.

We on the other hand are reactive and have little foresight when squad planning and so we find ourselves in the position where for instance Kane has played too much football and Eriksen’s situation has fucked us ( despite having years to buy and groom a successor). Wanyama is still here long after it was apparent he’s done and Dembele was allowed to slowly disintegrate and leave and we still didn’t replace him until a couple of months ago.

Now THIS I believe.

Heaven forbid somebody uses a fans forum to discuss something other then what is “factually correct”.

Lighten up a little. The idea is to discuss all things Spurs. Is it really worth giving rectum spasms due to something which goes against the happy-clappers agenda?

Like I said, breathe, breathe.

Making up bollocks and spreading it as "facts" to fit some sort of agenda is probably where we draw the line. If you're claiming this is "ITK" (which you were) then go through the usual procedure please.

Couple of anomaly’s appear present here Robert. Through fear of upsetting the self proclaimed “Boss”.

1. I didn’t make anything up.
2. I have no agenda.

In relation to going “through the usual procedures”, could you remind a half-wit of what these may be? I did search for the SC forum ‘user-manual’, but couldn’t locate the document in big print.

Thanking you well in advance.

is it just me or are there so many anti Poch postings that you get the feeling this site has been invaded by other clubs fans posing as spurs fans . If they are spurs fans coming out with all this rubbish aimed at unsettling the fans the players the manager and the club as a whole then I feel they are perhaps supporting the wrong team and need to clear off to some other club .

Message one of the mods before posting so called ITK. That’s what I’d do and I’m a fuckwit too

So you’re of the opinion Poch doesn’t consult any member of a legal team or financial advisers?

Genuine question. Find it hard to believe people would be this ignorant.

I mean I re-mortgage every so many years, it’s my house, my mortgage and therefore my loan.

I still speak to a broker...
Ok a mortgage and a work contract are two different things entirely. I'm sure for some things he does ask for legal advice. He might even have someone to look through his contract before signing it. He publicly states that he negotiates his own contract and apparently that of the other coaching staff, there is little reason to believe otherwise.

However, what I don't believe is him having a team of advisers that help him work through his every move. Maybe the op is talking about his coaching team but nevertheless it seems a stretch. The whole thing seems too much.

I think you are confusing people being sceptical about your information with people getting agitated about it. I'm as calm as can be resting on my bed drinking son camomile tea. I'm just skeptical of your info. If you get it verified, which is the policy of this site. In large part to prevent reactions like this then people will take it more seriously.

Thought this for a while. The crap that some people come out with, they’re either deluded if they think they’ve got the clubs best interests at heart, or as you say fans from other clubs aiming to destabilise us. With all the money at stake these days it wouldn’t even surprise me if clubs planted people on rival forums to spread negativity. Hell, I wouldn't put it past Levy to be funding AFTV in the background, the stakes are high enough.

So nows there's a conspiracy lol...its not like there are loads of new accounts been made and started posting stuff, the vast majority of the negative stuff has come from posters who have a history of being negative.

If you're concerned about trolls, check the joined date for any user you suspect of being a troll. If it's recent then most likely could be a troll, then again this site has loads of old accounts which lurk about dishing only negative ratings and the occasional negative comment.
