Toby
Jan
Eriksen
Rose
Aurier
Dier
Lucas
Is my guess

He said they are playing week in, week out though. That only covers the first 5 and the Jan situation is odd. He keeps saying he wants to stay.

Fuck knows what’s going on? Something is certainly not right though that is obvious.

I don't think Levy will sack Poch. We've got enough to stay in the hunt for the top 4 and as long as we do this Levy will hang on until United/Madrid come knocking and we can get a payout.

Could prove costly to keep changing managers though. Alan Sugar did that and we never achieved stability.

The thing is what is long term...5/6/7 years? Things like that rarely work nowadays in the modern era, we have a squad now which is primed to win things, we have the stadium, revenue is increasing, we are paying higher wages than before so we are seen as a big club who should be competing therefore I think he next move is gonna be a short term fix.

Plus how long is Kane gonna wait for he's entering his peak years and won't be here much longer if we don't pick up any trophies or show any signs of progression.

I don't know why we're asking for mourinho and Rogers both have respectively shown the same issues at previous clubs themselves. Rodgers was sacked by Liverpool mourinho has been sacked numerous times at numerous
different clubs

He got the best out of them consistently and we only had one way of playing. As soon as teams just sat deep week in week out we struggled. He's never really had a plan b and I'm ok with that as long as you persist with a working plan a.

As for the transfers. He said repeatedly he would only but players that would improve the squad. Well in his view that consisted of only 4 players. That in itself is laughable.

we've now got apparently 6-7 wantaway players that are the problem causing trouble etc. Yet he's still playing all of them week in week out. The players are unhappy and it's more than those listed numerous times in this thread. We'll there are more than that and we will need an entire new side to eliminate the issues at this rate.

I've never seen or heard of a manager that's managed to turn a squad round from this position before and I doubt very much he will now.

6-7 wantaway players??

That’s quite a lot!

I don’t get how we have so many wantaway players when until recently we’ve been on an upwards trajectory.

Poch is one hundred times the manager Rogers is. He has done well at Leicester but he is vain and self absorbed. Do you think Harry Kane, Deli, Toby, Danny etc would have the same level of respect for him as they do for Poch and would buy into his objectives and methods?

Absolutely 100% they would. How can you say Poch is a better manager than Rodgers? Every team that Rodgers has been at has always played great attractive style of football and he has a history of winning things.
Players will always respect someone who knows what they're doing and Rodgers is a manager who knows how to coach. Poch is a motivator but is poor when it comes to the tactical side of things

He's 100 times the manager because you like him more then? Where are these hundred more trophies he's won?

The club should only look to sack poch if either alegri or Mourinho agree to joining

Both are out of work so will at the very least minimise the cost

both managers play very boring football, Mourinho has divided every club he has been at in recent times. Not sure either manager is the answer, even short term.

We only had one way of playing? Poch has literally proven to be one of the most flexible managers in the world. He’s played 4-2-3-1 high press, he’s played 3/5 at the back, he’s played both 4 and 3/5 at the same games with Dier switching from DM to CB. We’be played 4-4-2 with two 6’s, we’ve played 4-1-4-1 and we’re now playing diamond. He’s literally adapted to the squad which he’s even trying to do know, he’s playing a diamond because he wants the midfield to get more protection because we don’t have a clear DM. He’s also made almost every player versatile. Dier, Alli, Eriksen, Son, Lucas, Mason etc became more versatile under Poch so he could play different ways. We’ve played high press, we’ve played counter attacking football, we’ve played possession based football, we’ve changed it to sent it long to Llorente. Poch has more than one way of playing and more than one plan. Get your facts right next time

As for transfers he deserves to get whoever he wants no matter the price. If we buy players that wasn’t in his list we would get a Nkoudou & Njie situation

And he’s been in a sticky position before. Remember his start? When players didn’t buy into his philosophy so we struggled at the start and Poch was almost at risk of losing his job.
Remember 16/17 season, the season everyone can agree was a brilliant one. We won 1 out of 10 games from 15 October to 3 December. We got knocked out of the Champions league in a “easy” group and later on knocked out in the Europa League

Things are shit right now and has been for months now unfortunately. But you must be deluded to think any other manager can come in and do a better job than Poch. Eriksen, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and more players situation doesn’t suddenly change if Poch goes, in fact it would probably get worse

Let’s get through this shitty situation and in January splash the cash at a DM (Sangare) and a RB (Atal) no matter the price. The club really needs to back Poch now

Yeah I bet those trophies in the SPL could inspire many footballers.

Ffs why are people so insistent of having a coach that won't be sacked 3-4 years down the line when that is the very real reality of modern football.

6 years of Poch has not been the norm. I'd also add that the situation we find ourselves in now is a very similar one to the one Mourinho has been in at the end of his tenure.

Anyone looking at a coach with the thought of long termism needs to accept that that probably means zero success.

Why? Because long term means Eddie Howe and theres absolutely less chance of success. Time to show some ambition.

We can't even argue this is transition as it's the same players. So when the new fresh faces do come in we have to listen to the excuses of them needing a season to adjust and get upto poch fitness regime or some other excuse
