How gutting to see the same set of players that Poch groomed, some to become better than they actually were before, a few who have become top stars, have totally stopped playing for him and dare I say it, stopped playing for the fans and the club... Absolutely gutting..
They haven't stopped trying. They look lost and without any direction. They are constantly asked to play in different formations and postions, sometimes several times in a match, and they look mentally and physically knackered. Theses are the same players who last year bailed Poch out of the same problems we have this season, but they can't keep doing.

I live Poch, really hope he stays and figures this out. He may have been onto something earlier in the year when he left out Verts and Eriksen and we were all questioning it. At this point I would like him to stay and make the changes needed by dropping the big names who are one foot out the door. Insert Foyth, Sanchez, Dele.

No point bringing in Maureen unless you're planning to spend a shedload of money, and Spurs won't be doing that anytime soon. Also his teams play dire football and his recent CV is nothing to write home about. I'll pass.
I agree with all that but we've got a good squad & need someone who can get the maximum out of them. Unfortunately Poch seems to have lost that ability. Jose coming in could see eriksen & alli suddenly back to their best. Knowing us it'll probably go horribly wrong though. I just think this squad needs a big name. Would hate to see us go down the Eddie Howe route

I can't imagine getting rid of Poch and I'd want him to stay and turn it around... But the conundrum is.. Once the rot sets in, its usually only stopped by a change of manager I can't think of any recent examples when a manager has turned it around. At best they just limp on.

Poch will go somewhere else and win multiple trophies

He might - but it's obvious he isn't going to do that here, so we can't keep him whilst achieving nothing, for fear that he might do a good job elsewhere.

In an alternative, we might win multiple trophies whilst he ends up at Leicester/Everton competing for a Euro Vase slot.

That was utterly pitiful. Spineless from the defence (except Sissoko), zero invention, no one taking responsibility to make chances, playing stupid possession football inside our own half, no one actually getting into the box, no movement in attack. Alderweireld can go, Jan can go, Eriksen can get out of our club, Aurier not on the pitch but he can go, Rose can go. They can go for free for all I care. I'd rather they were replaced by youth players less able but more motivated. Bring in Sanchez, Foyth and Tanganga, Eyoma, I honestly don't care so long as those wastes of space go and stop polluting our club with their poor attitudes.

As for Poch, I'm behind him at least until the end of the season

You sure about that, Poch practically said that the players gave up against Bayern.

I just hope that Pochettino leaves before the Watford game because as shit as we are the Watford game is one we could still win and keep Poch in the job but it certainly wouldn't solve our problems. He's had a hell of a lot of time to get us right and he hasn't done so.

Imagine turning your nose up at a manager who needs a suitcase to carry around his medals.

I hope they remember the day they decided they couldn't be bothered to do what Poch was telling them, as this is the best it's ever gonna get for 90% of those players.

It's the long term repercussions that worry me. This side is not good enough to turn things around and with no CL football next season no class players will want to come here and the few we have will want to leave. Then another manager who will tell us these things don't happen over night and is looking at a 5 year plan.
The other worry is our academy is not producing any class players. Even Chelsea and Utd are at the moment.

How on earth did he still persist with the ones who want out ? Aurier and Rose and Wanyama were dropped this time, he needs to get rid of Toby, Verts and Eriksen if he is still around for the next game. I think there would have been more hunger from a team from the national conference.
