Knew Mrs Vardy was a twat as soon as she said she was "punching above her weight" in bagging Jamie Vardy o_O

Unless she was talking about the weight of her bank account...

Jamie Vardy's parents stopped talking to him because of this woman

Mental that, Rebekah Vardy claiming a few other people have access to her IG. If it truly wasn't her then somebody in her PR/Management team is about to be taken to the cleaners by the Rooneys!

What for exactly?

Invasion of privacy or something like that I'd imagine, pretty scummy thing to do whoever it was seeing as it wasn't a public account. Even if they're not sued, if they're found out I can't imagine them working in that industry anymore.

"I'm not being funny, but I don't need the money" - former gurning I'm a Celebrity contestant, Rebekah Vardy.

I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her. Something off about her.

When I first read the story and saw the Sun involved I was assuming some sort of hacking but then after reading it its all very strange. Too much time on their hands I suspect.

Frankly disgusted with the tone of some of these posts lads. I've never seen such a lack of compassion in my life, you should be ashamed.
It's times like these that we used to see SC's human side come out and everyone pull together in support.

God I just hope Coleen's ok.

The Irony in this article.
https://heraldpublicist.com/who-is-...ren-and-what-did-coleen-rooney-say-about-her/

At the bottom "if you have any stories relating to a celebrity etc. etc. etc."

Without defending either side the press is now a cesspool of deceit and shit stirring. It would not surprise me in the least that if an IG account was hacked then it was via the press.

So if you are such a fucking peacock and want to announce all your private affairs on Social Media you should know the risks.

Got into work and heard my colleagues, the majority of whom don't like football, talking about Rooney and Vardy. Thought they'd seen the light and now we could have at the very least mildly engaging conversations. How wrong was I (n)

I think it raises some interesting questions, mainly because I work somewhat in this arena.

Just because someone is "famous" and has a bit of money doesn't mean they're not entitled to a private life, nor does it mean their bank balance will make them feel any better about a friend betraying them.

I feel a little for Coleen Rooney as this was clearly from a private account, one she was selective about who she allowed access. If she wants to post a "WTF my house is flooded" picture to her friends on IG, she shouldn't have to live in fear of that story being sold to the press. I know it's a "consequence of fame" to some extent but she took precautions and it's clearly a shitty thing to do whoever did it.

Becky Vardy 100% has a private account as well, so it will be interesting if it comes out if it was her private account that was accessing Coleen's private one or a public one. If it's Becky's private account her argument is completely void as nobody else would have access to that. If she's using her public account to follow Coleen's private one then fair enough, other people in her management etc will have access to that account and really Coleen should be clued up enough to know that.

I agree with you to a point. But social interaction, even with friends has many levels.

In the 'old days' common sense would temper how I released information.

A one on one conversation or a private telephone conversation.

Telling my story to a close group of friends in secluded surroundings.

Telling my story within the group in public surroundings

Or declaring it from the rooftops to one and all.

For whatever reason, whether ignorance or arrogance, society today is hellbent on social acceptance with being liked by all and sundry the most important.

For whatever good social media presents it has removed common sense from social interaction.

In today's world we are all aware that anything we post on the internet is vulnerable for exploitation (whether we are aware of it or not).

How can anyone (especially someone that is a quasi-celebrity, or styles themselves as a celebrity) believe that in this day and age, anything they post in any kind of social media account (private or other wise) will remain confidential?

Have these people been so ignorant that they have learned nothing from events of the last few years? Whether its by hacking, social engineering, wire tapping, or something else, nothing (and I mean NOTHING) remains confidential if it is posted to the internet. Eventually, it will get found out. And if they believe otherwise they are delusional.

Want to share with your friends that your basement is flooded? Set up a group in your text app of choice and send them a fucking photo. Don't post it on Instagram, Twitter or whatever the flavor of the month is in "social media" (btw, I hate that term, it is the most unsociable thing imaginable), just send it to your friends - I'm sure they'll be excited to read all about it.
