Everyone saying Poch "has to say that [about January signings}"

Also Poch " January is going to be a good opportunity too to fix this situation and the next one." - Just one month ago

"if we win the CL, I will quit"

Also Poch "I never wanted to leave (paraphrasing)"

You know when you work for a manager who says one thing one day, and another thing the next? Yeah, never ends well...

I do think that he gives out a confusing message but i actually think he's misquoted and misinterpreted much more than we give credit for. He's a very philosophical manager and he tends to talk in hypothetical scenarios a lot. "Maybe this or maybe that, or maybe everything or maybe nothing" - the press end up spinning it 4 ways and if he says nothing they say he wants to go to Real or Utd.

Its all bullshit anyway so ignore it

Never thought I'd see a day where Poch pissed me off. Used to love the man but it's almost like the 7 year itch, wherein everything about him just niggles away at the moment.
It may pass.
But it may not.

Fuck!

His English is not really improving. It's weird when he says something like that
"Yes I know him. It's going to be tough. We will fight against us, play against us. We are our own worst enemy. Then after the opponent. I am so happy, after today we expect arrive Sonny from North Korea this afternoon and the players react in a very good mood. We have talked a lot, individuals and collective."

Surely everyone is reading too much into it?

When he says he hasnt got the players he wants and we will buy again in January, everyone has a go at him saying how will that motivate the players when he publicly lets them know he doesnt like the squad.

When he says he wont buy in January in an attempt to show loyalty and faith in his squad, everyone has a go at him for sticking by the players and not looking to fix the issues.

He is clearly showing a different tact with this conference and showing faith. I dont believe his comments on the January window but what do you want him to say? "Yeah ill be flogging the crap players and buying new ones."

Im not a fan of how he has been acting recently but jesus christ have a think before whinging.

He can’t win whatever he says so he should just shut the fuck up or deflect the question...as people have said he could easily say ‘we will see what happens (in January) as now isn’t the time to discuss transfers’ or ‘I don’t want to discuss rumours’..not really hard to say no comment either.

Couldn’t agree more. First time this season I actually get annoyed listening to Pochettino. He contradicts himself so much it’s laughable. Does he realise only last week he was saying the Jan transfer window was the time to strengthen ? How can you literally flip flop from one statement to the complete opposite in the space of a week ? I just don’t get what angle this guy is coming from anymore and I don’t actually think he knows either. Sounds like a manager that has completely lost the plot to me. Don’t get a result against Watford and he can fuck off for all I care.

Liking the shots with him taking training today, all smiles. Hopefully less sitting out training and watching on cctv and more hands on management in training.

Some of the comments here are embarassing. The sad thing is the media have made things way worse than they really are and a number of our fans are falling for it too. Our best manager since Bill Nic goes through a bad spell but fuck loyalty from a section of our fans. Pathetic.

I think what people need to do is to stop taking everything he says as gospel.

It's the media circus, just relax and don't read into it too much.

Better than Dim's "much of a muchness" motivational tactic.

Retrospectively, Tim was actually correct about 90% of what he said.

His problem was never his tactical or analytical nous, nor (I believe) his coaching ability - it was his personality. Wouldn't surprise me if he was bipolar based on how manic and eccentric he would be at times, and then how upset he looked when things weren't going well for him.

We need 3 points v Watford confidence booster end of and take it from there. So many players underperformed so far you hope there are some inner reserves in there. And I would be curious about how important the role of captain is because Hugo is out. I was very impressed with how Kane played v Bulgaria in terms of his assists. It was truly team performance from Harry.
They need to show if they really behind Poch or not and restore their pride in the process.

Poch needs a sabbatical. What the fuck is talking about? Alot of players ahead of GLC and Sessegnon? There’s minimal fucking options in the squad! What in the world? He’s become so weird. Jesus. If we lose this weekend, Levy’s gotta put him out of his misery.

Is it so fucking difficult to say

"I am always looking at improving the squad. I have total belief in the squad I have but I always want us to improve"

Is it that fucking difficult??

Lets be honest the majority are iunenthusiastic and bored of Spurs at the moment. I bet some of the players are and it is just tiring.

To be honest I stopped listening to what Poch said to the press years ago. He’s up and down like a whores drawers.
