It's even fairer to say that those in charge of buying and selling are guilty of negligence or incompetence or both. It stinks.
I think one window aside, buying has been fine for a good decade.

Selling, well Levy was getting hammered for giving in and selling Carrick Berbatov Keane Walker etc for being small time and making us a selling club by many of those hammering him for not being able to sell Eriksen, Alderweireld, etc, not least by you.

Our recent transfer policy certainly has a lot to answer for.

Problem from the outside is we don't know how our setup really works.

We receive conflicting stories of Poch turning down targets and failure to make our move.

It's hard for us as fans to know who to blame but the current system has not been working. I still maintain our summer transfers were a step in the right direction.

If Poch is to stay then our transfer setup has to be central to everything.
I agree. Pochettino should probably not take all the blame. But despite that, it might be that he isn't the best fit moving forward.

Irrespective as to what Poch says or does, only 1 man can influence this:

Christian Eriksen's game by numbers vs. Everton:

0 take-ons attempted
0 chances created
0 shots attempted
0 interceptions
0 tackles made
1 yellow card
16 x possession lost

However, Poch CAN of course influence whether that player should be anywhere near the pitch...

He created a chance for Sanchez with a free kick. But he was awful, he's totally checked out
a pass completion of just %70
hes actually bordering on sabotage

Yet he also ran the most out of any one else on the pitch as usual. With over 13km

i wonder why he does that, is it a stat he consciously looks to maintain so he can't be accused of not giving effort?
i ran more than anyone else for 90 minutes so I'm obviously working for my wage?

The worrying thing is that its hard to feel confident that Poch knows what he wants to do with the first XI, once everyone is fit.

The whole club feels like watching a slow moving car crash this season.
Agree with this. I’m pretty sure he hasn’t got a clue what his best starting x1 is.

That’s why we were so good in 2015-2017 he only had about 14 players to choose from.

Eriksen the exception. Ask your self why is Pochettino constantly picking Eriksen? For the same reason as always, loyalty. Eriksen's lack of motivation is probably not because of an issue with the manager.
That doesnt matter. If he's not motivated, I don't think it matters if his lack of motivation comes from his dreams of being the new danish superstar in Real Madrid or because of Poch.. He's still playing badly. Dont think Real are interested anymore anyway.

Yes but why Sess? Is there no one else on the bench? Preferably one who isn't about to make his debut in this shitshow of a match?
Does it really REALLY matter? He had to choose someone, he chose him. If he'd picked someone else, another poster would be all over that. He brought him on for a brief period of time............meh. Whatever he does is wrong :D

Why would Bayern want Poch? He's done nothing to suggest he's capable of winning trophies, as is expected at Bayern. He's a good coach, but surely they want a more experienced winner type now after Kovac?
This is the interesting factor.

Overall Poch has done a great job for us but it appears he is at the end of his tenure.

His strengths were getting the team pulling together and for a few seasons we were hard working and cohesive.

He appears more of a coach than a manager. So what clubs he is well suited for is beyond me.

He seems to fit teams with DOF's but he appears to want to have more control of player purchases.

Part of me feels he would do better accepting a role of head coach. If that's a fit for Bayern, I have no idea.

13 KM over 90 minutes of football isn't even THAT impressive. I'm sure any regular starter in PL for any team easily can handle 13km in a match if they wanted to.

I disagree with all of that but because you're like a sex starved dog with several bones when we get into stuff I'll swerve the copious amounts of time I'd have to dedicate to arguing the toss. I'm a one or two posts guy :D

Correct, the comment you quoted was in the for now hypothetical context of whether Pochettino would take Eriksen to Bayern.

For the record I do believe this is nearing the end for Poch here, but not because he has become a bad manager overnight
He has put the club first, went a few windows hardly spending as we built our new stadium.... Now things have gone stale, his mistake was this.
He will go, and we will lose a great man, a really decent man, who I think we let down.
He gave us some wonderful seasons and gave us a team to be proud of

Now we are hounding him out

He will go so where else and be a success, he has lost his way, his condidence and is making errors I admit.... He is human, pity we won't give him the tools and time to fix it

Alot of the scathing comments on here make me ashamed to be a fan.... The fuck off comments.... Pathetic

I'm done on here for the forseeble.... Before I get banned

It's the internet. You need to abuse himand condescend him because he disagrees with you.

I then report you, to you. You then ban BBLG from the transfer section.

He'll end up going eventually anyway so best case scenario is Bayern coming in for Poch so that we can at least get some compensation for him and avoid the pay-out. Plus it leaves the best candidates available.

I'm not saying it's particular impressive I'm just pointing out that he's always at the top regarding distance
And I wonder if he purposely does it to avoid work rate critique.

Poch to Bayern doesn't fit for me.

For the past 10 years they've always gone for the proven experienced winners - Van Gaal, Heynckes, Guardiola, Ancelotti. Kovac was the exception but he was a former player for them .
