We’ve won fuck all under these owners in 20 years. They couldn’t give two shits.

Our ambition is to be the most profitable ‘anchor tenants’ the world has ever seen, yay!

Think that is harsh on the owners. We have had comfortably a top 2 / 3 squad over the last 5 years. And they built a new stadium, best one int he world apparently, which was a major distraction. I think there are lots of reasons for Poch's demise, but the main one is the whole club became stale. He dropped his high energy ethos, no pressing, no tactics, no clue. The players clearly are not reacting positively to his coaching anymore. Kane looked a different player for England. Time to part ways. Sad times. Maybe Levy's fault we did not freshen up the squad 18 months ago, but that is now in the past. Onwards and upwards.

My heart fell into my butt when I heard the news. I am super bummed, and despite how things have been, if Poch wanted to stay around and was dedicated to the cause, he should have never been sacked in my mind. We’ve made our bed.

Whats more gutting is nothing will improve...same shit under a new manager...because the problems we have right now are bigger than this manager and the next manager

Sad, and no idea who is really to blame but it has been looking inevitable. I think a bit of both. Poch didn't get what he wanted (Levy fault) and Poch made sime weird statements and team selections to make a point rather than doing the best with what he had (Poch's fault).

Overwhelmingly sad it came to this when we were on the brink of something potentially very special.

Thank you Mauricio and good luck.

My thoughts exactly.

There's only one person to blame for the position we're on but he can't fire himself. Once we go back to struggling to get into the top four every year and Kane decides he's had enough, all those people who called for poch to be sacked will soon not be heard anywhere.
Imo theres blame at Poch and Levys doors but I dont think he was ever gonna turn this around.
I think its the right decision but that doesnt mean things are gonna work out for the best. Who knows?
I just think its improved our chances of getting top 4 this season (too much to do imo), Christ even staying in the league (we have been in relegation form for months and havent won away in a year) and definitely increased our chances of winning fa cup as Poch has shat all over domestic cups his entire reign.

Well.... Fuck this.

He gave us our identity again. Don't care about the trophies. Don't care about the fucking press conferences. Seriously, what's the fucking point if you can go from this,

To sacking the guy within 6 months. What is the fucking point?

25 points from 23 league games is it?

That's why.

Im absolutely gutted, Obviously theres a lot of posters to remember but I tried my best to argue for Poch during this difficult period and Im extremely sad that its ended this way and I feel everybody during this project deserved to see a happy ending and I wanted so much for Poch to turn it around and go out on his terms. Unfortunately football has for a long time now not been a place for romanticism and its a place for fans with demands for winning and not a place for supporting through thick and thin due to the cost involved in following clubs these days.

My fear is that the next manager will be hamstrung in a similar fashion and only then we will see what we had. I hope Im wrong.

Gutted, I know it was a bit stale recently but was hoping that would kick levy's arse into spending, just hope we dont get Jose. Any new manager will have to spend in Jan possibly heavily

Me, it and no doubt him.
Well let's see how long
before we make another CL final
or even win a trophy.

This never, ever would or should have happened had Levy and Enic given him the proper backing these past 2 - 2,5 years. It's time for Enic to cash out and fuck off once and for all.
Poch next club will be one of the big hitters. Real, PSG, Bayern, you name it. And he'll succeed because he'll be backed. We had a generational coach on our hand that Levy somehow stumbled upon. Now he'll think he's going to 'play it safe' and go for some old dinosaur in Mourinho or something like that which will cause more havoc than ever. Absolute shambles and a disgrace Poch has been let down the way he has. Thrown under the bus.
