Some medias should now where Mourninho is now? Is he in London? If he's on holiday in Carribean etc. he's probably not our next manager..

Can anyone see Levy giving Mourinho the money he would want to spend?!

Think there's a long way to go - but odds seem to indicate he's fave

The Manager who ALWAYS wins trophies say hello to The Club that NEVER wins trophies

The unstoppable force meets the immovable object. The SPURSY one v The SPECIAL one. I honestly dont know what will happen. Probably relegation and winning the Champions League.

Im all in for the carnage that is about to ensure. Fuck it, we never actually achieve anything anyway. Get the popcorn out.

Must be a new manager coming in imminently or else they would have appointed an interim for Saturday.

I would like it on record that I said Mourinho is a washed up punch drunk has been whos best years are well behind him and by appointing him its shows a complete lack of ambition on our part and to top it all off we will be the first club where he wont win a trophy.

Despite what folks might think of Maureen, there is one thing you can't dispute... If there is a manager available that would immediately command the respect of the playing squad, it's him. This matter a great deal when it comes to the likes of Kane, Sonny, etc.. As it tells them the club is committed to winning, and they've hired a coach that has a long track record of winning. Rather, if they had hired and up-and-coming manager, that would tell them they're in for a long re-build.

Also, the hiring of Maureen is fairly strategic, as it sort infers that Spurs considers itself a big enough club to hire one of the elite managers. You may hate the guy, but certainly can't say he isn't considered among the best out there. To me, that's undeniable. And to sponsors, players we are looking to sign, etc.... that's also undeniable. It says we are ready to win, now.

I don't want Mourinho but the positive to him is I can imagine him doing a properly fucking amazing job of winding up Chelsea and Arsenal fans. Maybe have him in as caretaker manager for the rest of the season, that would be ok.

He really isnt the same manager anymore, it surely is as clear as day that time has passed him by.

Strongly agree. He's the antithesis of the club, getting him in would be George Graham 2.0.
