Again, Munich too quick on the floor, and in the head. 10 - 3 was flattering over the 2 games.

Shame, because they're a shambles at the back.

Its the last episode so I might as well watch it. It’s been an ok series apart from Stein trying to flirt with a succession of fairly revolting women in their late 30s early 40s. That’s been fairly putrid, I think he thinks he’s on an episode of The Trip each week!
I thought it was aa fairly interesting first episode. As long as the women he flirts with have big ta-ta's it'll be good.

Rustie Lee was a dreamboat :sneaky:

Thought there were a few solid performances. Foyth, toby, skipp, glc and sess. Lacking match fitness is tough when playing against a team like bayern who move the ball so well.

That is just wrong, only two groups out of eight would ten points not have been good enough to qualify for the knock out phase.

Er, points totals aren’t relevant in a hypothetical situation as we would be playing different teams.

Funny how Skipp should start games now ahead of Dier in 10minutes but Lo Celso poor performance shouldn't be taken seriously by just playing 60 minutes.

I’d give GLC a pass for this game as he hasn’t had much game time since joining us. I’ll reserve judgement on him after he’s had a few starts. Added to that, there were a number of his team mates who were off their game today.

Lol at people writing GLC off though

He had a chance to show what he's about tonight.... Instead he demonstrated zero effort and offered nothing. A passenger. Unforgiveable behaviour and attitude for a new signing who should be chomping at the bit to show Mourinho (and the fans) what he can do.

Please look at the build up to Bayern's third goal. GLC lost it upfield and then barely got into a slow jog to work back to help out in defence. Was actually standing still as Coutinho took a touch and fired home. He simply couldn't give a shit. Incredibly disappointing.

And on another occasion, he allowed Coutinho (not a physical player by any stretch of the imagination) to TWICE bully him off the ball. Embarrassing.

About what I expected to be honest, whoever we put out. As units, their patterns of play and ability to zip the ball about was far superior to our defensive set up and structure. A lot of that was carbon copy of the previous match, and when we play the likes of Man City etc who operate similarly. Overloads and lots of specific positional and pattern play that expose us in the channels and wider areas and leave us looking very ragged. Something, new manager or not, we need to find solutions to.
The annoying thing about it is Mourinho more often than not managed to change formations for big games to help nulify a lot of the problems we've had so far, but he changed nothing about us since he took over. Maybe it's too early, but the Wolves game could be very telling. If we defend with the same shape in that game I'll be worried because Wolves will open us up time and again.

We will still get dicked and this serves no purpose at all! Either play full strength to win for confidence and to make a statement, OR completely rest everyone so we can be full throttle against the must win v Wolves this weekend! And this is nothing - we will still lose, half the team will be knackered and youth/2nd string wont be fully utilised!! ?

Lo Celso is best left side.of a three in midfield or as a number 10. Why we keep playing him right wing is baffling.

Dire,Rose, Eriksen, KWP were extremely poor not just tonight but most of this season and last. Its got to the stage were they cannot be relied on as squad players anymore. If we get any offers for them in January then we should take it.
Eriksen could have easily had five assists tonight.
