MOTD2 is quite funny.

Arsenal beaten before the game.
Fans were arriving late and not that up for it. As if they knew. Loads of seats still empty when City scored.
Ozil getting stroppy as he goes off, slowly, getting jeered.

They made the comparison with Sheff Utd. Asking Richards and Jenas if you would swap any players. They mention Aubamayeng and Lacazette (an unused sub today..). Richards mentions Ozil but then can't say when he was last any good. Sheff Utd's players would run through walls for their manager, for their fans. Arsenal's players don't give a shit, and the young ones are completely unprepared.

Jenas suggests 'playing the kids' because at least they'd care. Sure. They might care but Jenas then agreed the club/team has no direction, so their group of Football Manager regens probably aren't the answer..

Everton and Bournemouth away next, then Chelsea and Man Utd at home.

All four are against unpredictable opponents but if Arsenal turn in such a limp performance you can see them dropping points in all of them.

It’s just so fucking hilarious, especially now we have steadied the ship somewhat. So glad this isn’t being wasted by us being terrible as well :ROFLMAO:
Have you seen us recently? We aren’t great and are only 4 points above them. Let’s not all join a circle jerk just yet

Ozil is a disgrace. He sums up the spoilt brat culture of today. He basically hasn't turned up for 3 years, earns a ridiculous salary. Yesterday he kicks his gloves into the air.

Amazing isn't it? I love my club, I revel in my rivalry with the Arse, but, I'd have given my right clinker to play for them. Makes me wonder what they take from this life.

Their main playmaker and highest paid player, Ozil, makes little to no effort in covering ground or defending in general during games. And I have never seen a player moan as much as he does. A true ambassador of uselessness. They bought two excellent strikers and have been trying to shoehorn them both into the team. Aubameyang isn't a left winger but the problem is that Lacazette is also too good to leave out of the team.
The captain's armband has been stripped off of Xhaka's armband because he has been a liability for them since he joined, and their fans are sick of him conceding penalty after penalty so they voiced their distain when he was substituted a few weeks ago. His reaction? Take off the shirt and make gestures towards to fans.
They clearly needed defensive reinforcements and who do they sign? David Luiz - one of the most overrated defenders in premier league history. I wonder who has conceded more penalties during their time at Arsenal, him or Xhaka.

What are their options? Guendouzi seems like their main DM, but he's more concerned with how he can help his team score rather than defend. What does Torreira do? Ceballos is on loan and would surely rather go back to Madrid than sign permanently for this lot.
In defense their options are just as dire. Sokratis makes as many mistakes as Luiz, Mustafi is a meme at this point and it seems like Chambers and Holding a bit meh. Overall, a poorly managed squad.

I am revelling in their chaos. I welcome the fight between them and West Ham to finish in the top 10.

I didn't watch the Arsenal match yesterday, I had it on BBC5 live radio in the background.
.
(Sutton doing commentating isn't good btw)
.
But there was one passage of play where Arsenal were trying to attack and the ball apparently came to
Ozil who fluffed control somehow... The commentator said ... and 'Ozil took his eye off the ball' ....
.
I nearly spat my keyboard out or whatever you young Bucks say these days.

They've got a talented enough squad not to be anywhere near relegation.

But it depends whether they lose all will and focus or not.

Basically, if most of their better players give up and start looking for a summer exit strategy, then Arsenal could be in for a relegation battle.

Just think what a mess they are in when they replace Luiz with Sokratis for the Man City game. Dumb replaced by Dumber.

They're a bit like us before Martin Jol. Talented in the wrong areas. Defensively they are a shambles, but I think they got the attacking ability to stay out of a relegation battle simply by outscoring the other side.

But if they do get dragged into one, I think it could be really dangerous times for them. The pressure of a big club being in that situation really could get to them.

Everton away next week for them, now actually looks like a very tough game, which a month ago was a different story. Hopefully Big Dunc can keep them fired up.

sadly I think this is wishful thinking. They are 4 points behind us. They aren’t going down or getting anywhere near it

Yeah they'll have games like the West Ham match where they were utterly shit but their forwards won them the match.

Yeah exactly, it’s basically impossible to go down if you have a 20 goal striker. Arsenal have 2, and there is loads of dross in the division. I’d be amazed if they aren’t top half
