I think hes chopping and changing too much with a squad lacking confidence.I must admit he is not coming across as the tactical technician i thought he was. Maybe these players are incapable of carrying out technical plans??
I would also question the "professional" bit. It’s easy to last 90 mins when you don’t break a sweat. Lo Celso gets the ball, turns and runs at the opposition. Without the ball he’s snapping at the oppositions heels. Whereas Eriksen either lays it off or passes it straight to the opposition. Defensively he doesn’t even bother attempting to win the ball back. The quicker he leaves the better.

Yeah, his best bet is to pop onto SC. It's full of tactical geniuses.I must admit he is not coming across as the tactical technician i thought he was. Maybe these players are incapable of carrying out technical plans??
Gazzaniga cannot get to shots in the corners, he goes down slower than the Titanic

Try B&Q.... filler is on offer 2 for 1.This place cracks me up.
I didn’t think we were that bad considering it’s a cobbled together side of mainly squad players. We were never gonna be a slick outfit for 90 minutes
Spot on. I feel a bit sorry for Sanchez because he seems to lack confidence but the defending was just not good enough at that level - especially when Tanganga comes in and looks assured after a couple of games. Very excited about Tanganga like everyone else although I appreciate that it's early days.We should have won that by about 6 really, that’s how much better we were than them, but we couldn’t put it to bed and made life hard for ourselves when they started banging it long.
Positives to be taken;
Tanganga. 2 senior starts and he looks this good? What a player.
Gazzaniga. Thought he had a very good game, though perhaps could have done better for their goal?
Seasegnon. Looked very assured in his role and got forward well on occasion.
Lo Celso. Appears to be growing into the role and was always looking to get us going forward quickly.
Lamela. I seriously hope the boy can put his injury woes behind him. He’s got the biggest heart in the club.
Team effort and desire. They were up for it today, pressing in packs, never really allowing borough to settle into any kind of rhythm.
Negatives.
Dier. I hate to say it but stick a fork in him, he’s done. The “he’s been out for a while through illness” excuse doesn’t wash anymore. He’s now had ample time to get back to fitness, and sufficient game time to get somewhere close to match sharpness, but he looks like the weakest link out there.
Eriksen. He was a mixed bag today, did some good stuff, did some bad stuff but, to his credit, he never hid and was always looking for the ball. But his set pieces were, once again, atrocious. He’s a shadow of the player we had and loved.
Sanchez. After a commanding game against Liverpool, he was the only player on the pitch who couldn’t judge a header. Had hearts in mouths on at least a couple of occasions with some awful headers.
Defensively. I’d hazard a guess that it wasn’t just me that was chewing his nails to the quick every time they got a corner or a free kick in our half. They don’t inspire confidence though, having said that, I have to acknowledge that they dealt with the majority of the dead ball deliveries pretty well in all honesty.
So overall, very pleased with the effort put in, they took this game very seriously, but worried about our profligacy in the final third, we really should have been out of sight before the hour mark, if not by half time. But with the effort comes the results, so here’s hoping that this is just another step towards building confidence which will see us improve further.
Oh and one other thing, no evidence of the “hoof ball” so many on here think is JM’s only avenue of attack, some of our build up play was intricate, fast and, but for some ordinarily final third play, should have resulted in some very easy on the eye goals.
