As with at the weekend, if you're selecting that sort of side - attack minded, technical players - simply have to have the game go in a certain way. Control of the ball, control of the game, force them back and play in their half. Pass, move, be patient in opening them up, football them to death. This probably also means being patient and having spells of possession, to pre-empt the 'not playing it forward enough, get it forward quicker' bollocks we get most weeks from fans/media alike.

We didn't manage it against Watford and instead got a scrappy game where the chance to get the ball down and construct the play disappeared after the opening quarter of an hour. At home tonight against one of the struggling teams in the league we simply must find a way to play our game, I don't want to see it end to end.

Other than Vertonghen it's a good lineup, maybe Jan is there to help out Sessegnon as he has experience at playing LB.

Buzzing to see Hugo back.

Can’t wait to shitpost about how awful he is when we’re 2-0 down at half time

Great to see Hugo back. Wish we would drop Dele for a bit and play GLC further forward. But I guess we don't have anyone else to partner Winks in CM, other than Gedson, who's still settling in.

Some of the opinions on Lloris are fucking laughable. The guy has been our best goalkeeper in the modern era. He regularly makes saves he has no right to make. A few gaffs won’t detract from the amount of points he wins us each season.

I’m so glad he’s back.

I dont really complain much about commentators, generally im easy going with pundits ettc, but Tony Gale is a really horrible commentator and a ****

This is a game I want a statement. It won’t be easy as few games in the PL are easy but Norwich are bottom of the league for a reason, we are at home and even without a striker we should easily have enough to get the win hopefully fairly comfortably.

Got to fancy Son and Moura against Hanley surely he is so slow.
