Beating the club for the nearly signings is mad. Every club has examples of missing out on high profile players for a variety of reasons. Far more upsetting would be if we’d not signed Lo Celso, Ndombele, if we don’t get any reinforcement in now. I’m personally very happy with how the signings of Lucas, Son, Dele, Toby, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Lloris, Dembele etc turned out.

I’ll happily criticise Levy to the hilt for failing to refresh this squad in time to sustain our upward trajectory, but missing out on the top percentile of players, no. Those are the hardest players to sign, for whom we have the most competition, and have to spend the most money.

I understand hes a fan as much as the next guy but his opinion on Levy does come across a lot in his posts.

He obviously doesnt like him and he seems to like to paint a bad picture.

ITKs are regarded well and in high esteem by a lot of people and rightly so. They share info about the club we otherwise wouldn't get.

My issue is when they start to use their standing to get their own feelings and opinion across too and people buy into it as if its not opinion but fact.

That's what it feels like Gards does to me. He clearly has issues with the club or with Levy.

It doesn't bother me with having issues with Levy. I'm not sure I know a Spurs fan who doesn't. My issue is him using his standing as a known ITK to generate more and large negativity amongst fans towards the club. It appears to me that's what he tries to do anyway.

This is getting into dangerous ground. Anyone here doesn't like the info, then leave the ITK threads alone. Likewise if you have any 'issues' with it.

Walk away and don't read it before that choice is taken away from you.

As has already been said, sometimes opinion can cloud ITK and its up to you to filter that, not the ITK in question. I have absolutely zero patience with this shit so if anyone wants to push this, please bear that in mind. I'd much rather lose an idiot than an ITK.

Bale is clearly not coming back so I guess it's down to the other two in Piatek and Jose.
