Bergwijn has so much potential. When he was mentioned last summer, it seemed like another Martisl scenario, albeit with less hype because of the Dutch league and international side’s perceived weaknesses- although this is clearly changing as they build a new side of good young players, of which Bergwijn is one. I was convinced we would miss out on him to another club, but he stayed with PSV and I never really thought about him.

So it’s exciting that we’re back in for him, but this time we seem very serious about it. And if Levy does land him for about 30 million, then he’s played an absolute blinder in the short and long term. Kane flanked by Son and Bergwijn is a scary prospect for any opposition

How did levy pull this one off?
Bout time we had a player that can break teams that park the bus. If he gets him for under 30m we have had a right touch.

Why does everyone keep posting stuff from this fraud? Better to get the information from the actual source

It’s transfer related info.. Really don’t see the issue with accounts like his. His tier system is open to your own interpretation. He does the donkey work getting all the info take from it what you want..

If any one has doubts over Bergwijn capability in PL, have a look this compilation of him vs England.
He plays more centrally here , more often than not beats English press , skinned Walker & Magiire and often finds the key pass.

I remember Jansen looking like a young Robin Van Persie against England?

Given our ‘financial’ constraints what would you rather have?

Fernandes - assists and goals BUT only played in a piss poor league and would cost minimum £60m.

or,

Bergwijn - rapid, skilful wide forward and Piatek, a fox in the box who knows where the goal is for a combined £60m.

I’d go for the latter, 2 positions strengthened and allowing Ndombele and Lo Celso to both be utilised in their best positions.

I've been on Spurscommunity long enough not to not fall into this trap.

The correct answer is buy them all for 10m more than their clubs are asking and then put in cheeky bids for Mbappe and Neymar .

Oh, and Levy out, get it done Levy, buy a fxxxing striker levy or whatever the hyperbolic shout is this week.

I can't believe people are comparing this guy to Janssen, it's laughable. The two are worlds apart in style and Bergwijn has all the attributes needed to compete in the Prem. He is rapid and very strong, they are too massive attributes to have. I haven't watched too much of him but from the games I've seen him in, he reminds me of a more polished version of Traore. I think in a front 3 alongside Son and Kane, we could be incredibly dangerous, especially on the counter. Add in Lo Celso and Ndombele and a potentially brilliant young team is starting to develop. He is definitely an upgrade on Lucas and would be a great addition to the squad in my opinion.
