All depends how we spend it in the summer, it will either be fully vindicated or cause further frustration.
I'm sure there will be plenty of frustration on here but I must say that I feel mildly optimistic.
I honestly believe that Levy is planning on backing Mourinho and that they will actually work really well together.

Fingers crossed, In the past I've been quite optimistic and felt disappointed so I'm curtailing it atm but I hope that's the case. I think we need quite a lot of players by our standard (4/5) but I'm hoping we can do deals similar to Bergwijn/Gedson so we can afford it.

I'm happy with the business that's been done and look forward to the rest of the season.
People moaning about not getting a striker, whilst I understand their grievance, I must say it is now down to Mourinho to earn his £15m wages.
He seems happy in his conference so let's wait and see how we get on.
Too many negative views on here, like Brexit, let's see what happens.

I'm disappointed that we didn't sign a striker or a defensive midfielder. I am very pleased with the quality of our recent recruitment however. Lo Celso, Ndombele, Sessegnon, Gedson and Bergwijn leave me feeling confident that when we do sign a RB, DM, CF etc we will buy quality with the potential to get even better. We are slowly building a very exciting young side again but this time we have a manager who is a serial winner.

Imagine it will be a busy summer. But as of now there are a ton of variables to consider before knowing if this window was a big disappointment. Like if Kane comes back a little earlier than may. We start to play a bit better and also see a midfield of Lo Celso Ndombele and Winks start to gel. Then at the end of the season there is cl qualification to factor into our transfer dealings and could signal unexpected outgoings. Then there is tye known unknowns like naming rights and sponsorships, and how they augment our coffers. And then there is whether enic will be selling up. Which i feel like something is in the air with that. We shall see.

A lot of people asking about certain youth players going out on loan, or unsure of leaving. Well Poch regime disheartened many of them. JM has spent a long time looking on the youth at close quarters. Spoken to a lot of them, along with their families and reps. Some are persuaded, whilst others have run out of patience. Some thinking about it. And others gone out on loan. Read that the way you want. Let’s see the outcome with what Binks does.

Can't blame them for leaving, it's one of the few big criticisms I have about the poch era and it's one I think he gets away with in general football world because they are still bias over his start with us when he did promote the youth.

Parents and advisors are looking at that and also José's record with bringing through youth and they have some very tough decisions ahead. If I was advising likes of Binks (18 and no glimmer of a chance to date) I would probably advise him to leave as they would get more chances at a lower level or foreign club and try play their way back to the top level

JM’s view on youth ‘Go out a boy, come back a man’. In other words, ‘go and prove yourself to me’. I believe this is the best motivation one can get. Elite youth will train with first team, and prove first being accepted by the seniors. Then take your opportunity when you get it (Tanganga).

Good to hear. One of the worst things about Poch was his (mis) handling of our youth. He's potentially seriously damaged the careers of some of our young players.

Seconded. It made absolutely no sense, and made a mockery of Poch's (undeserved) reputation for "giving youth a chance".

So Poch's legacy is to almost waste a generation of our youth.
I'd love to know what his thinking was behind the way he saw things as it makes no sense to me, to not get the kids playing proper football.

We'll only ever know if they're going to have what it takes, if we let them go out and play.
Really pleased to hear that Jose has taken a keen interest in the academy.

Oh do me a favour. Poch didn’t have his own thoughts or reasons? Granted the guy had his limitations in the end (ie. we won jack shit), but we progressed. Let’s see how we get on in the future couple of years before fingers get pointed.

Biggest myth in football that Poch is some sort of youth guru. Hardly played youth at Spurs, only played them when he had no other option.
