I had a feeling once he took that knock where he was holding his back that his game would fizzle out.

must admit i’m more than a little concerned about him at the moment, all the ability in the world lets just hope we can him going.

His thighs remind me of William 'The Fridge' Perry. An old American football player, weighed in at about 30 stone!

Tanguy has been seriously busy with the bargain buckets. He looks so out of shape that if he wasn’t our most expensive ever signing, you’d laugh !

looked unfit and out of position up front at AM

he just looks so much more comfortable playing a bit deeper

French league may not be as rough and tough as the premier league but its not '20mins and Im dead' level of difference, His lack of fitness is absurd, almost embarrassing.

Something is very wrong with this guy. He is a professional athlete of many years not a keen amateur who took up the sport in the summer.

We had a break off a loose ball very close to him late in the first half and it went out to the left, I think to Sessegnon. Moura and another attacker were haring into the box and I kept waiting for him to appear late. He'd barely trotted forward ten yards and the attack fizzeled.

His skill level is unreal, i mean like i said in the match thread - this guy could take a shit and id still be in awe - the thing is he would struggle to get back up from his shit.

I think we just need to give him a run of games and see what happens. Perhaps he needs to be the guy that has no defebnsive responsibilities because his attacking play makes up for that.

He does have a very languid style natural. When he used to be at Lyon he would be exactly the same. Obviously the French league is not as intense hence him struggling more here. But he will always look like hes plodding about. The only thing that is clear is he's nowhere near fit enough. I don't really care how he looks on or off the ball as long as he is able to play 90 mins at the required level. Which he can't remotely at the moment.

If however he finishes next season with the same fitness concerns as he has now then questions should be raised. For now though we just need to give him time and hope our fitness team can give him a routine that will work for him.

This was always going to be an issue with signing him as anyone who has seen enough of him at Lyon can testify to and quite possibly why he didn't end up at an elite club such as RM, Barca, BM etc.

How can you give someone a run of games when they're about to keel over after 20 mins? I think we all agree there is a potentially super footballer there but if that doesn't change then he simply cant play.

I just wish everyone would give him a few months injury free to buildup his fitness and physical sharpness before we go in on him. If the same problems occur at the beginning of next season then fine but today was his only his 4th start for Mourinho ffsss.

Very disappointed with Ndombele. Lack of energy into the game. Seemed to be somewhere else. Wasn't involved enough. Not sure what he was thinking
They all were terrible at that point or most. But they came back into it later. I felt he didn't commit himself enough.Anyway Im a supporter of his and was dissapointed

I would be absolutely amazed if we give up on him after one season. Two maybe, but even ruthless Jose I can't see it. Its down to our fitness team to try and help him get to were he needs to be. I'm sure Jose will see his potential and he's still young. Too soon to give up on a player only just moved to the pl

Ive been hitting the gym recently. I started off running out of breathe after like half hour but still persevered. Now its like an hour.

I guess you can build fitness through playing games i am presuming? Stamina may be an issue. VDV used to run out of gas after an hour then again he was like eight years older...

It is startling to see but im just thinking a run of games will improve that (maybe hopeful)

We've gone from needing a complete revamp to only needing 2-3 players. I bet Jose is licking his lips at the prospect of it all which is a far cry from when he took over.
I think Mourinho had big expectations of Ndombele and Lo Celso when he first took over over. I took his initial positive comments about the squad and not needing to spend loads at face value.
