I’m most impressed with his passing, especially with thru balls. He created the chance when Davies squared to Alli with a wonderful one touch pass. Very good to Aurier earlier in the match.

Supremely encouraging when you consider his pace and the fact he has goals in him.

Not only does he get his head up to pick a pass, he can execute it also.

Great start to his Spurs career thus far.

I dont think he is that quick but what I was surprised by is he can actually like really play. I hadnt seen much of him but I had this perception of who he would be like but strikes me as a clever player who can make good decisions.

Agree. Thought he would be quicker but he really does have football IQ

He is the sort of attacking player we need in the side centrally and wide. Not the Moura’s of this world who are really stupid and lack football brains.

You simply cannot have Son and Moura in the same side, you only play one and Son is the better player. The rest of the attack has to be intelligent

Do you really support Tottenham?

Bergwijn is the perfect winger.
Often, Wingers tend to be flashy, tend to run down blind alley or cannot see a pass...
But he has got it all...

Off the ball, works hard defensively.
On the ball, he is pacy, can dribble past the opponent...and when it matters can make that telling pass or cross.
And can shoot with both foot and reasonably good finisher.

Can’t wait to see Kane back with him being flanked by Sonny & Stevie. With GLC, Ndombele and Winks (or preferably a specialised DM) behind them that could be a really potent set up

amazing cross to Dele Alli in the first half .. last cross that good from a Spurs player was Soldado to Adebayor against Manu

even more, imagine Kane, Bergwijn, Son, Tanguy on the pitch together

Kane, Bergwijn, Son, Tanguy, Lo Celso, Gedson, Winks, Dele etc we have some genuinely talented boys, a lot of whom still qualify to play u23 football. Very promising start to life as a Tottenham player for Stevie B

I think we’ve found our new electrifying Aaron Lennon but with even more quality ?

He hasn't got what Lennon had which was pure electricity, but his awareness is so much better. His round the corner balls were superb. Such a clever player.
