I know Parrott hasn’t really had a look in since Jose took over but now maybe his hand will be forced, and who knows, it might be just the opportunity Parrott needs to show he can play at the top level.

Lo Celso false 9, played there for Betis. Get Ndombele on the Liverpool juice, him and Winks behind Bergwijn, Dele, Lucas with Lo Celso false 9-ing. We will score at least 2 goals this year.

Oh but why sign a striker? Get the fuck out of my club levy you fucking cheapskate
The combined might of Manchester United and Barcelona have been scrapping around for relegation-quality strikers. United have got Ighalo on loan, Barcelona are begging for permission to activate £20m release clauses on Leganes players. There simply isn't anyone available right now, hence we should have either acted last summer (when the manager decided to spend money on prospects like Clarke instead) or not released Llorente (again, a management decision).

Fuck for sake will that injuries ever stop? Maybe we see now Sessegnon some times in a front three and Troy on the bench.

Poch did not decide to sign Clarke. Levy did.

Yeah, Ighalo would really have made all the difference if we'd convinced him to join us over United.

January wasn't the problem. Trying to buy strikers in the January market is a fool's game. The issue is that we released our striker in the summer (presumably Poch's decision) without replacing him.

Yeah of course January wasn’t a problem. Just like the previous 10 windows weren’t a problem

We'll be fine. Maybe the CL will go down to 10th

Maybe we can persuade Napoli to release Llorente so we can pick him up on a free ftansfer?

Got to be looking for a free agent now surely.

Ducking typical, but we kind of have ourselves to blame don’t we. Have had more than enough time to get someone else but we also say, ‘well player x, y and z can cover if Kane gets injured’.

Llorente should never have gone without a replacement well lined up.

Very few goals in this side now with Son and Kane out and Dele out of form.

Poch did not decide to sign Clarke. Levy did.
You think that if Poch had said he'd rather spend that money on a backup striker, Levy would have said no? Obviously he's been tight with pursestrings in the past. But I think it's inconceiveable that he'd entirely dictate priorities to Poch.
