Good luck Vic, thanks for everything. Will remember him for being an absolute tank in DM for us in the 16/17 season. Wish we had gotten a few more good years of him.

I don't believe Levy asked for more last summer. We wanted to sell and get him off the books.

He has only recently sorted out his British citizenship, I believe that was a more likely reason to stay a few more months.

I really wonder what went wrong with the treatment/recovery of his injuries.
It somehow feels unnatural that at our club so many players are suddenly completely crocked. Dembele and Lamela prime examples and some more showing worrying signs.

Levy getting blamed for everything from Brexit to Coronavirus is par for the course, but it's really tedious. Fact is, nobody actually knows anything for sure, they just think they do.

I've Agreed but I'd suggest that both Parker and Sandro had more than one good season with us. But one absolutely standout season, absolutely.

Parker was only with us two seasons....his first season he was brilliant, the second showed that his time was up.

Don't really get this table of stats - it shows stats after 7 games played that season......should it not be for the entire season???? I would hope my main defensive midfielder to be in the top 3 of those categories anyway....kind of his job?.

mad to think, when verts more than likely leaves in summer, thats over half of the 16/17 starting 11 + the management who got us so close, all gone. all within 3/4 years, and i cant think of one adequately replaced player either? so sad!

We recruited well over the prior years to build the 16/17 squad.. The two Belgians for less than £10m each, Eriksen for £11m, Rose and Walker for less than £6m combined, Alli for £5m, Dier for £4m, Dembele and Son were snips in today's market at £15m and £27m respectively. Getting French no 1 keeper for around £12m was a steal and then the introduction and development of Kane.
The problem is that our transfer recycling since 16 / 17 has seen inferior players bought to refresh / replace.
