I honestly can’t see where our next win is coming from, we are awful in all areas of the pitch, board only have themselves to blame come the end of the season, going to take years to fix this squad

We’re awful......

The position we’re in now is mostly thanks to the board. I’ve defended them for years but Poch did warn them at least 3 years ago that this could happen and they did nothing

But Mourinho once again somehow manages to convince the majority of the fanbase that this is the only way we can play blablabla. Norwich & Burnley not Barca & Real have more control of the games than us. The way we’re playing is embarrassing but I would be okay with it if we won/win every week but we haven’t and won’t even if Kane and Son was available. Mourinho doesn’t know how to set up a attack he just tries to counter attack and hopes for individual brilliance which you can’t do in this day of age if you want to be a top team. And in his first week all he talked about was how much he loves this squad but he then should’ve known Rose & Wanyama is finished, that Dier probably will never be as good as he was, that we have no back up to Kane so he has to play every game and that him getting injured isn’t unlikely, that we have no DM etc so that’s why it’s so tiring hearing him complain all the time

And lastly Jose objectives in these 3 years is to win the CL or League and if he doesn’t he has failed. People talk about if he wins a cup he has succeeded with us, yes it would be great to win a cup but Jose was appointed to win the big trophies and I would be very surprised if he did that

Jose has been finished at this level since 2015

Have a day off, we just played quite well.

Much improved 2nd half, couldnt have been any worse. Alli needs to go. No more than a squad player, average in nearly everything he does and bet hes one of our highest earners.

Why set up like that in the first half if in spells in the second that's what those players can do? Fuck sake.

Mid table beckons, Champs League exit beckons, only a change in ownership will ever see us make a permanent breakthrough into the top four. We've had a good run but lack of investment in a striker has finally cost us!

Thought a draw was fair in the end
Think our pressing papered over how poor we were (and the contrast that we were horrendous first half, and only poor second half :p).
Almost no real chances when we played better second half - Burnley allowed Spurs to play.

Much much better in the second half. Pretty obvious he was trying to get a result without having to play Lo Celso and Moura again so they could have a rest. They made the difference when they came on.

Disagree, they struggled, the yellow card count suggests so as well.

Lo Celso probably gets MOTM but Dier wound back the years second half. His best DM performance for years. Good stuff Eric!

Very much game of two halves. First 45 mins looked like a team that came out with zero belief they would get anything from the game, went through the motions, and lo and behold we did go behind. After the break the early penalty helped matters for us and our belief, but at least we tried to play a bit and found some appetite for the contest.
