I really hope Mourinho gives him a fair shot. This kid has bags of talent, he just needs to be coached properly.

loan him out would be a better move imo, can't see us getting a good transfer fee for him

If he’s not likely to get starting minutes then I feel this is the best option for him. A good Championship side where he can get regular minutes, make his mistakes and learn from them.

If he learns how to make the right decisions then we will have a very, very good player on our hands.

Let's be honest, Tanganga has come in from our youth squad and has shown twice as much ability and potential. Maybe Foyth isn't as good as we think or more suited to different leagues?

I think I would be selling.

Incredibly hard to coach someone to stop making split second heat of the moment rash decisions.
Poch couldn't do it and Mourinho hasnt managed it either.
I dont think its down to the coaching.
Loan out or sell. It'll be one or the other imo.

Not quite true, Foyth also had some very good appearances as West Ham in Carabao or Bayern in CL. Tanganga is English and from our academy so it's normal that he's more hyped, but Foyth also could be very good.

Don't think he's shown 'twice as much ability and potential' at all. They're both young and deserve time, but in fairness, Tanganga has made just as many mistakes and rash decisions as Foyth' he has however not been sent off for any of them. I'd say Tanganga is better defensively but Foyth is miles better with the ball at his feet.

Imo not suited to pace of premier league in regards to the speed of his decision making. I’d sell over seas and ensure we get a nice sell on clause in the deal

I think you may have hit the nail on the head there. Its too fast for him and leads to him making rash decisions.
That said it may just be he's trying too hard when he does get a chance to prove himself.
Maybe a loan would be the best answer.

He'd be a player we'd be clamouring over if he played for Ajax, he's in desperate need of games to get experience, if he started 30 matches for us he'd no doubt improve - think he needs a loan but at the right club.

Sadly players just don't get much time anymore. If young players don't hit the ground running then they often don't make it at top 6 Prem clubs.

He's played 16 league games in 3 seasons and only 4 this season so far with little sign of getting significant game time anytime soon.

Basically Tanganga has made more of an impact and as we are unlikely to play 2 rookie defenders I don't see much room for opportunity for Foyth here.

My guess is his time at Spurs is coming to an end soon.

I think he may get a stay of execution due to the likely reduced business being done this summer as a result of the virus ... hopefully he can grab the opprtunity imo he can't be worse than Serge

Loan to a lower table prem side and see how he does. He’a got to cut out these mistakes. If he’s still making these mistakes while getting regular time, you know he isnt suited to the pace of the English game.

Looking by a comparison Tanganga 19/20 vs Foyth 18/19 his stats looks better. He's much better with ball, and their defensive stats looks similar. He should get a loan for Wolves or Sheffield

Not sure if he'd get in either teams - I don't think either of these teams would benefit from having in - seems a more likely fit for a team in the Championship.

Can’t see him getting in the Wolves side and they would surely look to improve their own youth ahead of helping ours.

A lower Prem side with less funds might be an option. Norwich seem like they could do with a defender and their manager wants them to play football.
