At the end of the day Kane left he door open...The media hasn't got much else to write about nowadays.
I don't see the point in getting too wound up - it's their job. There was a story published the other day where it was trying to create an angle that Man U were no longer going to be big spenders - is the media anti Man U now?

I think there are more and more people outside of the Tottenham fan base who know how good his passing is. There are a few of these montage's out there that have done the rounds on reddit etc.

Tweet is a bit over the top I think most people recognize Kane as an incredible playmaker. If they don't they're just not paying attention. Also, does Messi count as a playmaking CF? If so there's no one better than him.

You aren’t paying enough attention to the tweet. The person who tweeted it is referring to CFs playing in this country.

Also, Messi is not a classic Centre Forward i.e. a tall target man.

Actually you aren’t paying attention to the tweet. He said midfielders in this country and then all CFs in this generation.

Has any other player ever been the sponsor of another club?
I've asked that in the Orient thread.
I can't think of another one, current or retired.
It's a brilliant thing to do, to help support a lower league club at a time like this.

Lee Sharpe sponsored Man Utd's shirt when he was there

If we get drawn against them in a cup, do Orient have to pass the ball to him, let him walk the ball in the net, those sort of things???

I don't blame him for wanting to leave. If we got £120M+ for him (or whatever) I'd take if, provided we reinvested sensibly. Kane is still a great player but I honesty don't think we'll see the all-action beast-mode Kane again.

The injuries have very obviously affected his mobility and pace, and we don't even know what effect the hamstring injury/operation will have. It's a real shame, and I wish we, and England, had taken better care of him.

Problem is, I don't trust us to reinvest it well, and it's quite possible that coronavirus will fuck the market and mean no one stumps up the money Levy will invariably (and rightly) demand.
