Made a big mistake by reading some comments about this on Twitter. Seriously, how can you use this situation to make shit jokes like "they didn't find any trophies" or "Should've had Kolasinac with him"? Absolutely disgusting.

Sadly dickheads are always going to do their thing. I can imagine there were some pathetic comments made by the more brainless of our bunch when Ozil and Kolasinac had their incident.

Terrible what happened to him, been burgled myself while at home and while out awful experience. But really shocked how bad his security was especially as he just spent £300k on the Wraith Rolls Royce. He literally just had a dodgy gate you could crawl under and hedges.

All under the guise of "banter" no doubt.

It's the arseholes free pass to being an arsehole essentially.

Lets face it though Twitter is great for unearthing the dregs of humanity.

I swear most of these robberies/burglaries are inside jobs. Either someone close ie within circle of friends or the people in the industry ie have done work for him before on security etc.

The most disturbing thing is that the police who underfunded and poorly paid are useless...and won't solve shit. He'll be given a crime reference number and it'll all be forgotten.

Yeah, it sure is crazy how the economy keeps 'growing' but we can no longer afford to even pretend to investigate thefts under £50.

There was a Sky News journalist outside his home earlier this week basically advertising where it was and how "you could get in by crawling under the front gate". He actually said those words. It's like when Ozil was held up and the papers and tv stations were outside his home with the street signs in full view basically advertising where he lived. There should be some sort of privacy rule against that.

Good to see Simon Jordan sticking it to that **** Jim White.

I agree wholeheartedly. As if it matters what he's worth. As a human life he's worth as much as everyone else but somehow the value of his watch makes it newsworthy.
His points about mental health portrayal of footballers I thought was pretty damning

Look guys its how everything is reported. When a jewelry store gets robbed you dont think the public want to also know how much was stolen?

He is of course 99% correct, I was hoping that he'd touch on the fact that if players are their lifestyle is more likely to be bought up if said player is black.

Dele Alli, his a good kid. Great/massive ceiling, he started very young and imo over played to the point of burn out, his not the finished article yet. The unconventional way/ school boy dream in how he came from the lower leagues to CL fininalist you've got to love that however people will always try to pick holes and rubbish him.
He just needs to keep loving the game and concentrate on his family and profession people take him for granted thats that... Imo he has the cheak! to be world class the assist he made for Lucas Moura’s winning goal against Ajax was world class the skill sets are there.

I agree that he has a massive ceiling. If we put him in the right position and is coached the right way.

A story i read a few days ago from a former Utd player talked about the moment Cristiano Ronaldo started making the step from flash show pony to one of the most effective attackers in the history of the game (can't find the link but was P Neville on BBC MOTD - will paraphrase):

"the Asst Manager at the time decided to stop calling fouls on Ronaldo in training and told the defenders not to hold back on him. At first he would be having tantrums every time he got the ball because he'd get clattered and end up on the floor. By the end of the first week you could see he was moving the ball far quicker and more effectively and speeding past players with one touch. It was like the light had switched on and he never stopped progressing from there."

I wonder if we Dele could have the same epiphany about being more effective we could see a player progress from where he is now to being the most effective "second striker" in the hole in the Premier league

His hearing is this week. Quite surprised the FA didn't wait another week just to really try and disrupt our build up plans for the Man U game.

They had 3 months for this & Dier. Doing it now is ridiculous. Its already a disruption in our build up plans. The club should be annoyed at the FA for waiting this long.

Don't see what difference it would make if they announced it then as opposed to now?
