Schalke’s piss form continues. Trashed 3-0 by Augsburg. Not looking good for David Wagner
They got in some really good positions but lack an out and out goalscorer on the end.

The results from first 2 weeks of Bundesliga behind closed doors somewhat nullify the argument that there is home advantage for these games, which some Premier League teams advocated.

So far 3 home wins, 4 draws and 10 away wins

US broadcast of Mainz v. Leipzig match had fake crowd noise added in...chants, whistling, etc. I have to say that I liked it. More than I thought I would. It was weird on some wide shots but my eyes focus more on the pitch than the crowd while watching a match anyway so it wasn’t that much of a disconnect in terms of crowd noise with empty stands.

Seemed a bit weird and didnt go well at all which is completely expected. I think the authentic sounds of the game is probably the least bad option. Hopefully when the PL returns in a few weeks it will just be the sounds of the game with some behind the scenes talks before the match and at half if the clubs will agree to it. Think that would be of great intrigue to the viewer

Isn't there a disconnect between what's happening on the pitch and what the crowd noise is doing? Personally I'd rather just have the natural noise. It's a bit odd at first but it's a lot less cringe than having fake chants playing.

How come Sancho isn't starting again? He's not started a match since the resumption.

Good game so far, filthy goal by Goretzka.

A bit strange to sub Brandt. Sancho will need the creative midfielder who can feed through balls...

Honestly I'm envious of the passion and desire of the Bayern team. They have such an expectation of each other to perform at a certain level. Still think we just need more winners in the side, not that it's easy to accomplish.

I know it's Arsenal, but I respect Henry saying in their best days the level of training was so high, there would be arguments and fights but only because the fire was there. Ashley Cole recently saying after certain players had left prior to moving to Chelsea, the same fight and expectation wasn't there. I personally don't think we can achieve this level of mindset with the current set of players, I don't think the characters are there.

Even Fabregas recently saying Mourinho said that along with him he will be getting Costa and with this team *showing him on paper(or whatever)* they will win the league. Hopefully he will be allowed to build a team that can have him feeling the same here. Despite our massive progress over the last few years, it's the shift in mentality that takes us from talented to elite that we still need to accomplish IMO.

Wow I feel dirty mentioning those 3 massive wankers there. Sorry to sidetrack too.

Dortmund remind me a bit of us under Poch: young team that plays some lovely stuff and has quality all over the pitch but just doesn't have the mentality or that special something to beat the big teams when it matters and win trophies.

Their style isn't too dissimilar either - generally possession based and building from the back but with a lethal capacity to burst forward quickly and directly.

Kane = Haaland
Brandt = Eriksen
Sancho = Son

Not the same obviously, but enough to bring it to mind.

Yet again no home win,

So in 22 matches since restart 3 home wins, 6 draws 13 away wins. That is ridiculous

My super six predictions have been absolutely awful since the Bundesliga started. 2 points last night with 4 on the previous 2 rounds.....

Read somewhere that the actual playtime is much higher now than before Covid. Obvious to say that the crowd has an impact on the players mentality.
