TEAM FORM:------ Spurs -- LLDDL ------ Manu -- WDWWW ----
All Competitions

Manu are looking to record consecutive away Premier League (PL) wins against us for the first time since a run of six in row between September 2001 and February 2007. They are unbeaten in 5 PL games winning 3 and drawing 2. The Red Devils have kept 4 clean sheets in that run, as many as they had in their previous 35 PL Games.

Manu's forward Anthony Martial has scored 11 PL goals this season - in no campaign has he netted more (also 11 in 2015-16). Since his PL debut, Bruno Fernandez has been involved in more goals in the competition than any other Manu player (2 goals, 3 assists), while he's also created the most chances (11) and had the most shots (19) of any player at the club.

We have lost our two PL games Manu last losing three in a row back in October 2010 (four in a row). We lost our last home PL game 2-3 to Wolves. The last time we lost back to back home PL games was in January 2019, with those defeats coming coincidently against Wolves and Manu.

No side has kept fewer clean sheets in the PL than us this season (4). The last time e had kept as few clean sheets after 29 PL games was in 2006 / 07 (also 4), when we also conceded in our 30th game that term.

We are averaging just 12.1 shots per game in the PL this season, our lowest on record across a single campaign in the competition (since 1997-98), however, our shot conversion rate is 13.4, our highest on record in a single campaign (also 1997-98). Dele scored our goal in the reverse fixture against Manu - the last Spurs player to score home and away against Manu in the same league season was Clint Dempsey in 2012-13.

Jose Mourhinho has lost all three of his league games against sides he has formerly managed (1 v Manu and 2 v Chelsea), In his previous 16 PL games against former clubs in Portugal and England, he only lost twice (W9 D5).

That stats is so misleading. It isn't 8687 different people that took the test. Its the same 1000+ retaking the same test so the 16 positive results is more serious than implied

Never wanted to win a game so much since the UCL final.

Just to make that massive twat called Tim Sherwood eat his own words.

It goes to show you how awful contact tracing is. The league and reporters shouldn’t be trying to spin this. The results are they are getting is awful. And the fact they arent making any contact of the positives quarantine makes it seem like they dont care about player or staff safety at all.

Tbf Sherwood saying we're out of the running for champions League if we lose this game is bang on. Unless you're referring to something else.

I have missed football moreso since it has been announced it is coming back - it has felt ages but I have no confidence that we will have a tactic or an identity when we play next.

I think Jose has run out of excuses. He should be able to get his message across about how we play but I think we are going to see more of our right back being part of midfield and generally poor defending.

It's a sign of how much lockdown has got to me, that I've really missed match threads.
I'll give myself half an hour before the realisation comes flooding back!

I agree. This is as a result of us playing on the break, therefore we are pressured unnecessarily, not having a dominant midfield and basically playing ugly without any pressing. Although in the end I wanted him to go, but this is the dead opposite to the way Poch did things. At least we looked easier on the eye while playing more offensively because of our press.

Yeah he's bang on about but he also said he doesn't fancy us to win as well.
