I hate this "It's the law" argument. If we're going to be that robotic about it then we might as well just simulate games in football manager. Honestly all of these ridiculous offside goals and handballs, it's not possible to always be squeaky clean in every game you play and the rules need to have the flexibility for allow for this.

We should still win this. One lapse at the back gave them the goal and we are putting them under pressure without creating too much. Second half hopefully will open them up a bit more.

I'll be honest, those two decisions just make me feel like what's the point.

Think many feel like this and it will stop ppl from watching at some point. Dangerous for the league and can only hope the powers see this. (but they probably won't).

Outrageous decision but I guess they also had a bit of an outrageous decision at ours... Fucking

How can be 100% sure that hit Moura’s arm?! I’ve seen in multiple times and can. I way say for certain it did.
His arm lands on the ball before Egan kicks it against his back.

The application of the rule is correct (apart from the ref not giving a free kick), the rule is an absolute fucking farce.

NBC just showed a frame, and it does hit his forearm as he's falling to the ground, but I'm not sure that was the final touch before Kane got the ball

It did, that was clear from the replay at the time but people somehow can't see it. It doesn't matter if it wasn't the last touch

Absolutely fucking fuming, not clear and not obvious. I still don’t know if it hit his arm or not after seeing the replays about 30 times! Not from the angles Sky have shown anyway.

Shame the ref has fucked this so far.
He clearly waved play on when the foul on Moura led to Kane's goal, but then gives us no free kick. Moura even said what about the foul after it was disallowed and the ref shook his head. (n)

Then a minute after booking some thug for a professional foul on Lo Celso the same guy looks for Son and elbows him and nothing. Joker.

Unfortunately VAR can't give yellows but must've been close to a red.

That said though we have looked poor, leggy, lethargic, slow to move or do anything with the ball, and what good positions we have got into have been frittered away by poor decisions or inopportune bad touches. :(

I actually cant believe Souness called out Aurier and Sanchez on the goal! Its GLC who gets sucked in. Aurier is miles away from that ffs

I reckon either they’ve got better players than us, or they’ve got better coaching staff than us. Or maybe both. Or perhaps we’re just unlucky?

If Mourinho thinks ndombele would have been as wasteful with in the attacking 3rd as sissoko then we may as well stop playing

Sissoko is in there to defend, unfortunately he doesn't know that.

P*ss poor performance thus far, p*ss poor Ref & p*ss poor VAR.

Sissoko at fault for the goal, the bloke isn’t disciplined enough to be CM with no defensive minded one next to him. Bloke is strolling back from the right wing spot.

Thought VAR was to overrule clear and obvious errors? Whether Moura handled it isn’t clear and obvious to me, on the way down or when the balls kicked at him. Then to pour salt in the wound, referee bottles a second yellow for the blatant looking at Son and leading with his arm.

Need these decisions to Anger us and come out second half with a purpose
Agree, people think he goes RW to cover Aurier. That is just the natural way he plays football.

If that was rugby it would have either never been referred to the TV ref or if it had the ref would have explained that the Spurs player had been fouled, the ball has been played against his arm while falling. Disallow the goal but Spurs free kick. That's even if it has hit his arm which is not at all fucking clear.
