I think we've got to risk it somewhat now. Whether that's maybe over stretching financially or considering offers for Kane. I don't think a quiet understated window without structural change is going to do a great deal to fix things.

The ideal scenario would be to shift all of who we actively want rid of and then get a couple of decent offers for squad players like Lucas, Lamela, even Dele etc.

For incomings then we should place our trust in a DOF with the money generated. But I just don't see a fire sale and letting go of transfer control as a realistic scenario with Levy.

I’d much rather keep Kane as you say and sell some of the squad players. I’d keep Lamela and dele as they offer something different but Moura is not needed when we have Bergwijn and Son in the team.

Surely we could raise 100 million selling a few namely; Aurier, Moura, Sissoko, Kwp, Rose maybe we will have to risk some sales such as the likes of Sanchez if it meant we could then rebuild the back 4 a little bit.

Midtable striker for a midtable club. Perfect.

Haha you might be right

He’s having a fantastic season but so did Dempsey so did Lambert etc. I’m just trying to be realistic. I agree with most of you guys though I feel Kane will leave sooner rather than later and tbh he deserves it. I personally don’t agree that he’s finished though. Put him in city’s frontline and he’ll get back to his best I mean ffs strikers like Dzeko and Negredo flourished there.

I’m so confused when people say, “he deserves a move” we’ve been in numerous semi finals, a CL final and in two title races and we’ve always come up short. We had the players but didn’t get the performance when it counted most. At what point can we hold the players accountable for their performances at crucial times?

Kane is the last person we should hold accountable though, no? And who else would he be sold to? Kane’s dream also is for the premier league he’s stated it multiple times. I don’t see him being okay with a PSG move and Madrid and Barca I don’t see him fitting in there. Just theorizing.

I mean people are talking like we’ve been holding him back for years. This is the first season in ages where we have nothing to compete for come the end of it. Obviously, it does look like we may be in decline but i’m sure he can give us another season or two before we think we may be holding him back. He was competing for one of the biggest prizes in football just over a year ago.

As England captain you'd think he'd stay in England were he to move.

City potentially out of CL for 2 years... would he make the move? Otherwise, it's Man Utd...

Pool (nah), Chelsea (yeah, right...)

If Kane leaves what do you guys think of Danny Ings?
He's a good player but we'd need an equivalent second option there. Can't just have Ings and Parrott for a year. But if we have something like Jovic on loan along with Ings and Parrott (+ Son if needed), that's a decent setup. Don't get me wrong, we'd be worse without Kane unless we unearth a gem. But somehow we're going to have to fund new players because there's too many positions that need an overhaul. If we get 150-200m for Dele + Kane and can get Eze + Ings to reload the English quotient it's probably not a bad move financially speaking.

That being said I hope we just keep Kane.

Why? Becks played for Real. In fact Kane would probably be incredible for a club like Barcelona who need to move on soon from Suarez (who is now 33)...even Benzema is 32...Lewandowski is 31...PSG have no competition for Icardi once Cavani (33) leaves.

Kane isn't even in his prime years yet.

Hate to say it but kane could be the missing piece for man.u, they already look incredible lately but add a 30+ goal a season striker to rashford greenwood martial pogba b.fernandes and a solid back 5 and you have one hell of a team.

If Kane leaves and in return we can get 180m, then I would spend 70m towards victor osimhen and 30m towards milik or ings. I think we won't find any striker better than osimhen if kane really does leave ...

Also if man utd wants kane, we should ask one of greenwood or rashford in return as well...

Greenwood is a monster talent and i think there probably isn’t a player around they would swap him for...18 years old very two footed and an accomplished finisher, they potentially have their striker for the next 15 years being blooded (lack of injuries permitted)

I know they wont sell greenwood, i just wished Pochetinno had used parott and marcus edwards more in his last season, we could have had two exciting homegrown prospects at our hands now. Pochetinno only made kane and winks regular in our team as a homegrown prospect in his time here ... Or I think our academy is completely shit and can't develop players like man utd, chelsea, city, liverpool or even norwich, palace ...
