That was just mind numbingly bad even though we won. Imagine trying to sell the sport of football to some one showing them that.

I'm well aware we were shite since January 2019. It just didn't help the match when the other team were worse.
& we beat them - thank fuck we did considering what we served up on Thursday, eh?

Mou will be delighted with that, as am I. 3 points. Clean sheet. No injuries. Resolute. Gritty. Unspectacular. Defensively sound. Eric MoM for me. Something to build on.

You have been warned Bournemouth, be afraid, be very afraid.
Jose has to start ndombele on Thursday

Only making two subs (Jan doesn't count) was a bit odd though.

We've 4 games in 10 days and Jose is seemingly insistent on only using 13/14 players.

Would have liked to have seen Ndombele, Skipp, even Gedson come on for a least a few mins.

Yes boring game but clean sheet, discipline, focus, effort, organisation, game management and 3pts! Those are things which can lead to success. As I’ve said before it often ain’t pretty but it can be pretty effective. Given how shit and incompetent we were against Sheffield United that was an important performance and win. More and more signs of us becoming a Jose Mouriniho team, I just hope he can get some players he wants.

Loved Toby back at CB for this game, defence was solid, loved Hugo shouting at Son for not tracking back, that’s what we need a bit of fire in our bellies, loved gio playing further forwards, loved the tactical fouls and shithousery especially on Richarlison, it was clear that the tactics were to stop him at all costs and by doing that we stopped them, they had 6 touches in our box, finally I loved the result.

Well done to Harry Winks. If he'd have started vs Sheff United we wouldnt have conceded as many.

Was a massive error from Jose to go there with a Sissoko/Lo Celso midfield, rectified it tonight.

No matter how fucking badly we play, I absolutely cannot miss our matches.

I only became a masochist because of Spurs.

This. I don’t understand all these “I can’t watch posters“. Obviously never saw the 90s spurs ?

That was shite. Utter, boring shite.

I mean, it was great that we stopped them threatening our goal and Winks played a big part in that, but going forward was so horrific. Son and Kane barely looked threatening, whilst Moura, Sissoko and Aurier teamed up for some head scratching combinations (and not in a good way).

GLC was a right **** though. Loved the bit on 60 mins where he kept putting his hand towards Digne. Digne kept slapping it away, it was like watching a big brother wind up his younger sibling.

I can't take much more of Lucas Moura absolute pants . Should have been taken off no amend that should not have started .
I have said it before Jose has a blind spot with Moura and he needs to see what most of us see and that is Moura is a late substitute player at best with the hope he can make an impact and if I was Bergwijn I would have the hump big time .
