More goals and assists in the league than James Maddison. Disappointing season for Dele but he is one of the most productive players in his position in the league and couple of years aways from entering his prime.

Agree 100 percent.

Dele in the PL: 8G, 4A. 1843 minutes.
Mount in the PL: 6G, 4A. 2731 minutes
Maddison in the PL: 6G, 3A. 2629 minutes
Grealish in the PL: 7G, 6A. 3054 minutes

Smoked them all in terms of goal contributions per minute and all but Grealish in total contributions, despite playing around 1000+ minutes less.

Worth pointing out that 6 of Dele’s goals and all 4 of his assists in the PL were contributed under Mourinho.

Two negative effects on Dele’s Form are firstly his interest in his clothing form and secondly too much interest in

I love it when fans start to turn on a player - the player probably wouldn't appreciate it - but it can sometimes spark a turnaround and suddenly they're flavour of the month again after 2 goals and 3 assists in 2 games...

Perfectly happy to see how it turns out for Dele.

...But until then, get rid! :sneaky:
Next time try reading it once more & reply...

I have articulated of what’s missing with Dele & what I believe has to happen in next year or so for me to continue believing in him...For me he is not a starter in this Jose side...till he gets back to his old self of affecting games consistently

So not sure where I turned on the player

In the last two years Tottenham Hotspur has steadily declined gone down. Harry Kanes numbers have gone down in the last two years so has a number of offer players. In the last two years not making excuse Dele has had serious hamstring problems robbed twice and burgled. You mentioned nutmegs sarcastically like it's a bad thing to do towards a fellow professional when in fact it is an effective bit of skill . As for Jose comments is it Dele or Dele's brother... well Jose makes many doesn't he...he once proclaimed to be the special one.

Personally I feel like Harry Kane, Dele Alli is taken for granted. Kyle Walker was too.
Kane number is low because he played lower number of games...I haven’t said negative of Kane but you have somehow come to that conclusion.
Sorry mate, try harder...Incredible that now fans can’t constructively criticise which is what I have done.I wasn’t even unreasonable- clearly gave what Dele has to do to turn it around ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️

I think probably the biggest negative effect on Dele, Kanes and, well, every attacking player we have, is that until recently we've been fkin gash for months. The teams been getting weaker and weaker.
But dont be stupid and think these quality players we've been watching have suddenly turned shit and we should get rid. They're coming into their prime.
Strengthen our weak areas and get them enjoying their football again and they'll do the business I've no doubt.
Guarantee if we sell Dele there'll be a huge u turn by some in here when he starts ripping it up for someone else.
Don't wish away our best players.

If we're persisting with 2 up top then Dele, at absolute worst, in an amazing backup to Son. He's always been best playing just off of Kane, just as Son is now. Get a half decent striker with good hold up play to backup Kane and I'd be happy with the cover for our forwards for the first time in a long time.

He was supposed to be the next Gerad and am hoping he becomes known for his own actions and fulfills his potential with us.

Seeing what Jose has been able to do with Lucas, gives me hope that Dele will go up a level next season.

His problem has been that he has done well with the complex parts of the game, creative finishing, flair, off the ball movement, instinctive play but has struggled with The simpler parts that are geared towards team work such passing, playing with his head up, when to release the ball and when to dribble. These are all tactical rather than say technical deficiencies and hopefully a good coach can train him.

I’d sell him and use the money to bring in Grealish who has improved massively this season in a poor side.

Dele hasn’t been the saplayer for a quite long time now (2-3 seasons). He gives the ball away cheaply, his retention is poor and he consistently slows attacks down.

His lack of pace means you can’t play him wide and his lack of ball retention, passing ability and ability to do the basics consistently mean you can’t really play him CM/CAM. Therefore the only position he can really play is second striker which doesn’t suit the rest of our squad.

He isn’t good enough to warrant changing the entire shape. Son, Kane, Lo Celso, Bergwijn etc, they are the future.

We look a more fluid counter attacking side when he isn’t in it.

If we had loads of money we could keep him as a squad player but in the current climate we need funds and he’s one of the players we have who could raise pretty good money.

I think someone like Everton would spend big money to try and get him.

I hear what you're saying but I'd also like to see if Jose can get him back to his best. If he can, then there's no way I'd have Grealish over him.
If he's not sold, which I doubt he will be, he should be given the opportunity to prove himself. He was crazy good when he first arrived.
Saying that, I'd still like Grealish!

I think Dele has struggled mostly because of our unbalanced midfield. In 2016-17 we had a midfield pairing who were excellent at recycling possession, bringing the ball forward and distributing to Eriksen/Our briliiant wingbacks. This complimented Dele's game perfectly as his biggest strength has always been his movement imo.

Dele needs to re-establish himself as he no longer fits into our strongest XI.

Whether he rises to the challenge or not will tell us a lot about his mentality as he clearly has the talent.

Hopefully he gets back to his best form as he is a huge asset when he is fit and firing.

Dele is much more suited to the counter attacking style we have played the last 3 or 4 games than the lop sided way we played the previous 3 months. He is a strong runner and a clinical finisher on the break. I think getting a proper rest before next season will do him the world of good. He also has that nasty edge that JM wants in the team. I'd rather we focussed on DCM and RB as priorities.

Dele's problem is he keeps doing his hamstring. It's 5 times now in 2 seasons. That's Michael Owen / Ryan Giggs territory. Until we / he solves that he's never going to be what he was - watching him play you can clearly see he rarely makes the explosive bursts into the box that were his trademark - that's got to be because he can't trust his body.
