No one in Italy could afford him.

There’s allegedly some sort of clause that enables him to leave for free, no idea on the stipulations. Doesn’t seem like any of the Italian league could afford the wages though, as you say - especially with Juve looking like they have to offload people.

Gabriel Magalhaes is a REALLY good signing. Perturbed at this.
I'd hold steady.

Looking good in Ligue 1 is one thing.
Coming to the PL where it's more frantic and more physical, we'll see if he can transfer that.

People were saying Pepe would storm the league, yet he really struggled with the pace and intensity of it.
