Hercules in the daily ITK stating TN wants out. What a crap bit of business this is turning out to be

Wheres the bashing. This has been the case for months. When i stated it before i got dogs abuse. I do accept apologies lol. In all seriousness this is disappointing as now it appears we have a player who dont want to be here and a manager who dont want him either. Hopefully there is a way out of this mess and ideally with all the fixtures he gets dome games. Puts some effort in and realises he enjoys playing football. Or he plays well in september and someone buys him off us

I can't see how we'd get our money back. It didn't sound as if there was any real competition for his signature in the first place.

He's such a talented player, I wonder if something like a swap loan could be done. If he performs to the level he is capable of, we'd have a much more salable asset. So maybe, we could tempt Barca to loan us Coutinho and in return we loan the NDombele, that way we get around the huge loan fee Barca apparently want. There has to be a reason none of the European giants went for Tanguy and I suspect it was concerns surrounding his attitude. But if he was available on loan, they would probably more tempted. But it's only worth loaning him out, if we get a player in return that will strengthen us.

Aulas must be having a good chuckle...

Getting his sweet revenge on Levy after the Lloris deal which if I remember correctly pissed Aulas off greatly. Looks like Tanguy is going to be the second player we have brought from Lyon since then which hasn't worked out to go with the dreadful Njie deal!

Its a shame it looks like it hasn't worked out for Tanguy no doubt there is one hell of player there but massive questions have to be asked about his mentality (also our scouting team who surely should carry out full checks on these kind of things before splashing that amount of money about).

However IF he really wants out its surely best for all parties if we can help him find a new club ASAP. After last season we need players who a fully committed to the club and Jose's project.

While it's certainly a disappointment, I wouldn't worry too much about not finding a club willing to buy him. The guy's 23 and clearly has talent. To borrow a term from elsewhere, there will always be 'a greater fool' who backs themselves to get the best out of him.

He was chuckling when they made £45 million profit on him when he signed on the dotted line last summer.
Yep. It was an easier transfer to get done than expected. I believe Lyon knew all about the issues and were more than happy to float out the idea he was the next big player.

Why didn't PSG come in strongly for him? He was right under their noses.

I'll tell you why because they'd seen his bad games in the smaller ties and knew his history (and entourage).

Also, he'd have been a player right up City's street yet they didn't seem interested at all. Why? Because off the ball he lacks intensity and the drive to win.

Special and talented player but clearly struggles to dig deeper than other players. I don't know the story with his injury but I'm willing to bet it was a niggle, something that is irritating, but the players with the strongest mentalities play through it.

Look at Lo Celso in the restart, he was clearly struggling but he was still putting 100% in and tacking with intensity.

Jose Mourinho's teams do not carry Ndombeles. It is a team full of players who are running through brick walls. It has to be! If one player isn't giving his all, then it all breaks down.

People need to pay more attention to what happened at United. Jose knew certain players were being carried, he told the board, the board told him to make do with these players, problems ensued, board back players, poor performances follow, Jose sacked.

Levy has to back Jose 100%. He's proven time and time again, if you back him and let him do what he believes is right then he builds winning teams.

Pretty sure that they would have done all that they could but, because Poch was so sold on Ndombele, they pressed the gamble button and hoped that any past issues with his mentality would remain in the past. Sadly not to be.

Tanguy will come good, Mourinho has to resolve himself to help him rather than hurt him. As much as the onus is on the player it’s on the manager too.

PSG his only way out? Any PL side comes in and levy will just up the asking to put them off (rightly so) Barca are skint and they’re offering deadwood in return. Madrid possibly but unlikely.. Bayern can’t see it. Juve struggling with wages. He’ll be here next season

Tanguy has on the ball talent but his footballing maturity, mentality and physicality are not there so it will be tough for him to become world's best central midfielder who can put in 8/10 performances week in, week out ...

I think the plan is to swap him with Skriniar and buy Sangare for 15m ... I don't think we will have cash left to buy someone like Sabitzer in this window even if we sell TN as it will be straight swap with Skriniar and we won't get any cash. It will save us 200k wages per week though where we can fit two extra players ( Skriniar for 100k and Sangare for 50k may be )

Disappointing that he allegedly wants out and I guess unprepared to fight for his place.

I wonder what the other players must think of him.
Bit of a weird one as the players all clearly massively had his back earlier in the season. I recall him returning to the team after being dropped and getting an assist almost as soon as he came on. Even though he wasnt the scorer all the players made a point of running over him and were really obviously trying to support him and make him feel part of the group. It was a genuinely touching moment.

I doubt they would do that if he wasn't putting in any effort in training.

Inter? Heavily linked a few weeks ago, with Skriniar possibly coming the other way.
