This is what’s so frustrating about him. He is as good with the ball at his feet as Dembele, but is more clinical in front of goal and plays fantastic line-breaking passes, yet he also has no work rate. If he was even bang average in effort off the ball and tracking back, he’d be top 10 midfielder in the prem easily, probably top 5. Instead he can’t get even get a game for us.

I’ve advocated for his sale because I just don’t think he’ll ever come good, but I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to be proved wrong more. Would love to see him become world class in our shirt over any transfer, just don’t believe it’ll happen.

It looks like he is more of a cam rather than cm or dm where we were playing him

People love to shit on him but he contributed more offensively last season than any of our other mids (including Gio), in far less game time. He'd be fine as the box to box in a CM3, especially with lo celso and hojberg. Allowing winks or Sissoko the starting spot is a massive downgrade

Box to box? Are you sure mate? He gets gassed after 30 minutes; he's never busted a gut to get up and down the pitch.

And it seems he has a problem showing for the ball (vs Burnley).

I think you'd like him to be better than he is, but let's not delude ourselves. Our talented record signing just can't be bothered and that's why we haven't seen much of his talent.

For me it is up to him.
twent wise I think he could a massive massive player for us. And I would boot say no to him getting a second chance should he not leave but for me if he is unwilling to work as hard as he needs to he can’t be one of the first team.

Great talent, shite attitude. I’m really sorry he doesn’t want to do the work he needs to. Thought he was good when watching French football on tv and was hugely excited when we bought him. If only.................

He is nowhere close to Dembeles balance and control. Dembele was exceptional.

If he was to leave Nevez would be a very good replacement...we seem to have a good thing going with Mendes at wolves aswell so...

we are being turned against this guy by itk's now but he is our best midfield player. how can anyone be happy to see him leave when it looks like we have brought in solid players like hojbjerg and doherty that would allow him a bit more license to drive us forward without having as much defensive responsibility. thats what we were told earlier by itk's is that mourinho still wanted him and was going to build a tactic around him. i also doubt we would replace him with anyone that exciting so we should be hoping he stays and buckles down. he has never really played that badly, he was just a bit lazy tracking back in a few occasions. looking at those clips makes me think we will be making a huge mistake letting him go.

It amazes me that there is a group of posters who don't seem to think that the vast majority of fans can't see how talented NDombele is. It's as if they don't seem to understand that those who accept that NDombele might have to be sold, is because we trust that the club have tried to make it work with him, but that he just doesn't seem to want to make it work.

There has been analysis of his lack of effort by pundits. There have been clips posted on social media of him simply not trying. There were rumours of attitude problems before he came to the club. And then there is a shit ton of ITK saying the guy just isn't giving enough. Yet, still there seems to be a group of posters, who seem to think they'd noticed what a quality player NDombele can be and if they only point it out, others will see it too and want him to stay.

News flash - pretty much everyone can see he's potentially brilliant and would love him to stay and be a success. But everything we are hearing and seeing is telling us he, himself, doesn't want it. Hence, reluctantly, we'll support the clubs decision to sell, if it happens.

Yes because he’s clearly not putting in the required effort. That’s the n.o1 thing any fan or manager wants from a player and his lack of effort and poor attitude are inexcusable.

If he was trying hard but not playing well as he was low on confidence or hadn’t adapted yet then we’d all be 100% behind him but the alarming lack of effort and poor attitude is just a no go and for that if Jose can’t see him changing then he’s a huge asset that needs to be sold ASAP so we can reinvest in players who are up for running and playing for the club.
Exactely this. The majority of fans loved (or at least acceptetd) Soldado and Janssen because they tried. They worked hard, ran, sprinted - it just didn´t have the desired outcome. Same with Sissoko: clearly not a new Hoddle or Gascoigne with the ballI, and couldn´t hit a barn dooor with a ball from three feet away if his life depended on it. But he puts his shift in - and more. It doesn´t look like TB even tries, and for all those spending their few bobs on our beloved club that is totally unacceptable, unforgiveable and inexcusable.

Another factor: we all love football. But we don´t have the talent to play in the PL. We would probably give a left arm, a sister and our nan to be able to play for Tottenham or in the Premier League. To have such an abundance of obvious talent but not even bother to jog and maybe break a sweat - it´s mindboggling.

So you are saying the ITKs have an agenda??

As far as I'm concerned they're only confirming what has been obvious to many - That Ndombele is a gifted player with a questionable attitude and a natural penchant for idleness. A player who likes to collect his 200k per week but is unwilling to get stuck in and do the hard yards required of a Premier League footballer. A player who willingly signed on the dotted line but whose entourage of hangers-on and shady agents keep telling him that he's actually too good for us. A player who, when the chips are down and all at the club need to be pulling in the same direction, downs tools and goes on a big sulk.

We neither need nor want players like that at the club. Now it is possible that he sees the error of his ways and changes tack. But it'll probably have to become a lot worse before it gets better. And we can't afford to wait for that scenario to pan out.
So if a suitable offer comes in... Sell.

The analysis you speak of was the one game against wolves , there are multiple more clips of him tracking back and making great sliding tackles than there are of him slacking . there seems to be an agenda against him that only started when mourinho took charge, pochettino is renowned for his tough training sessions yet he still picked ndombele so he obviously was training well enough then. it seems that even up until recently he was in mourninhos plans for next season(according to itk) but suddenly in the last month ndombele has apparently burned all his bridges. i think we are being fed this line by people within the club because we want to cash in on him and the club wants to turn our opinion of him so that we are more accepting of his sale. I think he can turn it around given another season. unless he hands in a transfer request or goes on strike we should keep him. even our players laud him. (danny rose interview )

He's still kinda young, if the rumours of his laziness are true well there's a chance he may just grow up and focus on his career once fully used to the club, Jose and the league requirements.
Our squad is creatively midtable quality without him which is a worry

It isn't from the last month.
