Just read a post on Facebook. Bloke reckons we should give TN a chance because 'it takes time to adjust to the epl. Look at Sissoko. We were all gunning for him in his first 2 seasons.'
Errr...... lmao.

If the rest of the cult of ndombele are up for recording a boyband hit dedicated to him to let him know we love him then holla at me.

Ndombele is a Bugatti baller he is the fabric of a Tottenham player however we need to sort out the track and patch the many pot holes.
If people can remember back to how Eriksen started off his career at Tottenham he was labelled lazy weak blah blah blah then the penny dropped.

Interesting analogy but I’m not sure the issue is with the track. It’s more like the Bugatti has flat tires and the electronic driver assists are off. You know the car is capable of a breath taking lap but the tires are slowing the pace and the lack of driver assists are preventing the car from being in all the right spots at the right time. Unfortunately only the drive can reboot the computer for the driver assist and the tires have a slow leak (repetitive niggling injuries) so need properly patching up before they can be filled.

Sure you're not confusing him with Lamela?!?

I actually was,, ? no idea why i was typing about Lamela in the Tanguy thread,,ive finally lost it!!!! - no i agree Tanguys final ball can be lethal...... Lamela is the one that runs into trouble!!!!

I wouldnt be to upset if we sold him...... he shows flashes of what he can do, hes a good ball carrier (something weve missed) but he does so well up until that final ball and either misses the pass or simply runs into trouble and gets dispossessed... Seen it so many times with him, very frustrating

Are you sure you know which one of our players Ndombele is ?

If you had written that about LoCelso or Lamela I could at least see your point, but that is the complete opposite description of Ndombele's game

Is there any sign of him buggering off any time soon? All seems to have gone very quiet with transfers

If he were to go I'd like us to use the money to get Grealish in. HG, can play in numerous positions, current captain goes along with adding more leadership.

May cost a little bit more than Ndombele but by adding a top HG talent in the team, it gives more flexibility in future windows too for other areas of the team.

The more I think about this the more I want to keep him. I just don't see us getting the money in time to find a replacement of equal quality. He isn't going to be worth any less in a year, he's still young and he only has to play more than last season which shouldn't be hard. Next summer there is more likely to be money to spend again for a lot of teams. Worse case scenario he wastes another season and we sell him next summer for no less than we're likely to get this summer.

Depends on how you view him and what you expect from him 'if' he stays. At the moment, until he proves otherwise, finding a replacement of equal quality would be a piece of cake as we have rarely seen that quality, and when we have it's been sporadic. Finding a replacement of equal quality for the player we thought we were getting would indeed cost a lot of money and be virtually impossible. Personally i've long since given up on him, and fully expect him to be sold, regardless of some of the stories emerging yesterday.

I'm not sure about a piece of cake since no new signings are guaranteed to work. We could just as well struggle with his replacement. I just don't see anyone in England available who would improve a position that we're already well covered in. So any likely replacement would be from abroad and need time to settle. I would be a lot more concerned if he was a backup striker to Kane and we didn't have other options. I just think we have enough other options for the positions Tanguy would play so even if he doesn't come good it's not the end of the world.
