Strange bleat by the goat, usually when its critic its because its either not in the general media yet or sensitive, both milik and costa fit but both common knowledge and have had threads for a while so unsure

Unless he's hinting it's close to done, whereas the media have just linked us with both players and nothing more.

Could just be a forward from Serie A. If we get a forward in the next week that's the 3 key positions filled before the season starts. I'm not sure we've ever done that.

I found there is a 21 year old young striker of Atalanta, named Emmanuel Latte Lath :coffee:
Only he is currently loaned to a serie C side.(y)

Did the Goat’s bleat actually mean a potential new striker was literally at the training ground?

I assumed it was figurative, a way of using the word latte in a cryptic...

Isn’t that the point. It could have many meanings but doesn’t want to share details. Cue our local Sherlocks to work out the potential message.

Have to say, I immediately thought Milik until someone mentioned Costa. That’s the beauty of the vague message.

I think JJ and the Goat are probably talking about different strikers. The Goat is clearly talking about Milik and he's not really under the radar, as we've been linked with him all summer.

I wondered that, but I did a quick Google and the closest English translation for Diego is James.
I almost asked that and then remembered that David Silva existed.

Then remembered that he was born in Brazil....and got no closer.
