Based on the bitching in the Match Thread, I know I am in the minority again as I actual was enjoyed the 60+ minutes I was able to watch because of the poor broadcasting. To me personally, it was one of our better performances since restart, as it looked like we had a plan, including playing offensively higher up the pitch.

My MOTM is Ndombele with credit also to Lo Celso.

Not able to access it; glad to see you put Ndombele forward. Excellent.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Son is too inconsistent to be considered truly world class.

World class on his day? Probably. However, sure as hell wasn’t today or against Everton. When he doesn’t perform he is so frustrating to watch.

I agree, today I think was his worst ever game in a spurs shirt, truly stank the place out

Based on not being able to watch the game due to technical difficulty, I vote Ndombele

For me most were a 6. Son was a 5. Ndombele and Lo Celso (first 20 mins) were exceptions and probably the pick of the bunch. Lamela showed more desire in 10 mins than Kane, Son and Bergwijn did collectively. We still should have had a penalty first half for the clear foul on Bergwijn, Davies missed a sitter, as did Son. Should have been coasting at 3-0 after an hour.

Ndombele comes on and plays a style that is the complete opposite of the managers - so is creative and progressive and different from everyone else.

Lamela comes on and looks like he is the only one who gives a shit about the Club. Again.

Those two have been much derided, I love' em.

Not sure it is inconsistency. More likely fitness issue. Also poor against everton

I liked the shape if not much of the performance.

If we had a genuinely attacking LB it would've looked so much better as, aside from the odd cross into the box, Davies offered nothing going forward, and he was very often our outball. Reguilon would've had a field day today.

I also like that the system allows us to actually get Lo Celso and Ndombele into the side without completely fucking our defensive balance. Having 2 intelligent, attacking, technical players in the middle makes us so much more exiting and watchable.

Is it fair to give any ratings when about four people on the site actually watched the full 90?

Lo Celso the best of the ones who played the full 90, but Ndombele changed the game. Has to be him.

I have said the same thing before. The main cause is he runs with his head down and does not look for other options enough

Yeah, pretty lousy all around. But, positives are that Ndombele and GLC are exciting and with fitness, more games, we’re looking at a great pairing. Add Bale and what looks like one hell of a LB, there are some reasons to be very optimistic.

I am a little worried about CBs, though. We’ve not got great players there. Hard to argue Toby is a patch on what he was a few years back. Feel we’d need to spend big to solve it though, and that’s unlikely.

Oh, MOTM is Ndombele. It’s his time.

I didn't watch, but judging from the match thread, there is a missing choice: "How could you tell?"

Lloris - 7 had nothing to do at all then they scored and he made a fantastic save to stop them scoring again straight after!

Doherty 2 - fucking hell what is he? I thought Aurier could t and didn’t want to defend! But this guy fucking hell he turns like the QE2 in quicksand and he’s probably slower than Noe Pamarot can see why we didn’t ship serge out!

Sanchez 5 - was excellent until he had his brain fart to giveaway the corner they scored from!

Dier - 4 this experiment can stop he’s just simply not good enough anymore, lost times the amount of times he just aimlessly passed it long inaccurately

Davies 6 - created chance after chance but did miss a total sitter used the ball well

Hojlberg 4 - he improved in the second half but fucking hell is passing is awful! On top of that he’s another that looks like he would lose a race with Michael Dawson!

Lo Celso 9 - this guy is a special player I think he’s going to be as good as Luka he’s a magician.

Sissoko 5 - poor and also had a little poody at being taken off!

Bergwijn 6 - tried and tried and always looked like he had the X factor but to be expected he was rusty and he over ran a few things.

Son 4 - Missed a few easy chances and was poor on top of that! Just looked labored

Kane - see above

N’dombele 9 - came on and got us playing he was excellent.

The rest NET
