Wout is waaay ahead! I don’t call ‘done deals’ and this not ‘done’. But caution required! But very optimistic. As you never know with our Daniel if he is forcing Benfica’s hands with CV. Dias wants to come here. It is about the financials. We do have the money. We are targeting experienced quarter-back midfielders (as I call it) with contract down to 12 months as a guide. Or clubs willing to sell realistically. A lot of clubs have financial issues, and DL taking advantage of that. Kim stuff is very complicated.

Jessie Lingard offered you us by his camp. As far as we know, he is not who we are looking at profile-wise.
Great to hear from you. Thought you’d gone awol

Dias, Wout and ball-playing midfielder to add to what we’ve already done would surely be up there as the best transfer window in the clubs history? That might be hyperbolic and we’d have to see how they all performed but f*ck me. That would be an outrageous window.

Experienced quarterback style central midfielder with 12 months on contract sounds very ... specific? ?

Dias, Weghorst and a good CM... fuck me Levy would have delivered far more what i would have called a perfect window.

Need some exits though. Squad getting too big.

Stevie B. Been carrying tight hamstrings. Nursing him back slowly. His last game he didn’t feel right, though he started.

Dias would be a brilliant signing but I don’t get why we’re looking to bring him in and still looking at Kim. It’s one thing keeping your options open and another in terms of the gulf in class between these two players. Given our cash injection it’s a case of fillet steak or rump. Fillet every time.

Quarterback type midfielder is a fascinating update and exactly and addition we need for insurance on GLC and Tanguy.

While I’m sure he’s relentlessly fretting about the lost gate receipts, I feel like Levy is a pig in shit in this COVID transfer window. He loves a “creative deal” and pouncing when other clubs are weak. Just have a feeling he’s loving all the uncertainty.
