I hope I am allowed to say this. Gards is totally clued up, and has good connections! Give the guy a break. In 24-48 hours if you only know how what you thought was certain becomes uncertain, making one look a right melon.

NO FURTHER COMMENTS HERE PLEASE!!!
TAKE THEM OUTSIDE THIS THREAD PLEASE?

Dragons frequently updated ITK has been a breath of fresh air this window. Good stuff from all the ITKers. ?

I would be up for loaning Dele out if our asking price is not met.

Unless we have funds to get in a quality midfield player ( as well a CB and a striker) then I don’t see the point of loaning him out.

Unless of course him and Jose have seriously fallen out.

Agree.

Thing is we all hear from different sources, sometimes those sources will have agendas or bias of there own, and sometimes I'll be closer than others on particular deals and vice versa.

From my side Dele could well go, probably on loan but I certainly wouldn't rule out a sale.

Whilst I agree with D1 and Herc regarding CF targets I'm still hearing CV is the primary option as far as Jose is concerned, although we have been contact with all three. Dias is also of big interest as far as CB is concerned.

Benfica have issues at the moment as they gambled their incoming players on getting CL which as we know they failed to achieve and we know they need to balance in some way.

Could we get both? Not sure, but with Mendes involved I'd say it's a possibility.
Think this could draw out a bit if I'm honest unless player sales come in quickly.

Trix, well said. We all know how it works. And our Daniel knows how to feed agents stories to fuel his agenda. I agree the Benfica lads is Josè preferred. COYS

Fantastic update- thank you. Really hoping Dias happens; a quality CB really wouldn’t go amiss

The only thing I could see us doing before deadline day now is possibly the Weghourst deal as it seems the easier deal to do. If we're holding out because there's blood in the water at Benfica then I can see us waiting until closer to the end. Good thing we have the Mendes connection to make sure we don't miss out by waiting but think the club would be right to try and hold out on these signings for a better deal.

I'll deal with this later.

Sorry, thought that comment was in the match thread, where I was most of the afternoon, Was obviously not ITK related and just replied

I love that the ITK doesn't show signs of slowing down. Sounds like DL is going all guns to get Jose the players he wants and get the expanding squad trimmed back down.

My oh my the ITK is flowing. After the Bale and Sergio days that cost me a couple of working days I have been trying to catch up. Then today lots of info again. Tried to summarise for myself so thought I would share if anyone else is struggling to keep up.

It looks like this from what I can somehow summise from recent outpourings. Thanks to @Hercules, @Trix, @rebrab and for those helping to carry in the stuff from D1, Gards and JJ. And of course to our little bleeting friend.

We're not done. Bale and and Sergio were opportunities but not the main areas Jose wanted to strengthen.

The sudden investments seem to be coming as a result of a combination of an influx of funds available and/or Levy taking advantage of the precasious financial situation faced by other clubs.

Jose wants to play 433 according to D1.

Expectation for two to three players seem to be where it's heading with the three positions in question being CB, CM and CF.

Mention of Benfica holding answers of incomings from Trix.

Center Forward targets that seem to come up again and again;
Carlos Vinicius
Wout Weghorst
Danny Ings
Eduoard
Milik

Depending on the ITK it will differ which ones are in the lead with Wout and Carlos Vinicius repeatedly being highlighted. Though Milik looks the less likely, and Eduardo only really being tipped by D1.

Lindgaard though mentioned is not an option as far as I can tell.

Midfield;
Not much in terms of actual names though seem to be looking at a playmaker type player, with Herc hinting it could be someone experienced with 12 or less to go on his contract.

Center Back;
Ruben Dias
Korean Beast

Possible outs;
Dele, some say loan others permanent. We are talking to clubs.
Rose
Foyth
CCV
Clarke, loan
Sess, loan
Someone mentioned no-one but Son and Kane are safe though I assume that Bale and Sergio aren't in the at equation ?

And finally I think all the answers are to be found by deciphering this from Trix: πfdyu~rfght¶tFJ*ⅆ°rh(5&@)fhtr~sc

Did I miss anything?

P.s. Let's donate some money to the site which held up during the Bale Bonanza.

Donated and thanks once again to all of the ITKers and those that made the past week such a hilarious and enjoyable ride.

I'm a bit disappointed though in the Club. After all the help we gave them by changing our avatars which not only brought the players in but drove the price down to obscene levels too, you would think they would put SC on the payroll. What's a million or so to the club when considering the value SC delivered without expectations?

As succinct a summary as you'd like, bravo.
