Mate, if you don’t understand basic human nature, no point discussing. You know exactly what I mean. Carry on tho.

Oh please, like everyone has the exact same attitude. Kane has and always has been a model pro, he is more than happy to let Son have the limelight from game to game, he doesn't seek attention off the pitch and he actively wants the squad to be strengthened. Kane is the last and I mean the last player who would actually get annoyed at another player upstaging them, he's not Cristiano Ronaldo, otherwise he'd not be serving up 4 goals on a platter for Son.

This might be news to you but ambitious players outside of the very most conceited are actually happy when their club signs world class players? Do you know why? Because betters players means better opportunities, means better results, means your ambitions are more likely to be met.

The fact you seem to think Kane is bothered by someone joining the club who has a bigger global standing than him shows that you don't know him at all.

You're choosing a really weird thing to start a debate over that no one is even discussing in this thread, and then when someone tries to actually generously engage with your bizarre debate, you basically call them an idiot. Think you're the one who doesn't understand human nature

Okay speaking of basic human nature, if because he's delicate he gets his nose put out of joint by Bale coming back, you think because of that he'd have convinced Levy to give Real Madrid first dibs on him because the only logical solution to getting your nose put out of joint by a superstar joining is to join a team of superstars?

Sure. I’ll just give you a winner emoji and you can go about your day. ?

haven’t called anyone an idiot. I’m warming to the idea tho.

Sigh, it's a trolljob, you've not bothered to actually corroborate any of your assertions that Kane is some secret primadonna. Just making snide comments and deliberately stirring the pot.

Oh well, I've no doubt that when Kane hugs Bale as the first goal we score with Bale involved, you'll no doubt be thinking, 'that's a mafia hug, I expect tomorrow morning Bale will be training with the youth squad after Kane sends a message to Levy.'

All those games playing for England being the team player, dropping deep and passing to Sterling etc... rather than complaining at his lack of being the goal scoring focus in Southgate’s set-up.

yep, ego and clearly going to leave now that a 31yr old star on loan has arrived, someone brought in to help tip Spurs from almost team to winners, funnily enough the same goal that Kane has... I mean... ?

Sorry man, 2/10

Well this has escalated!
I remember a time when this thread was the happiest place on Earth. I miss those days. We had some good times in here.

Eriksen against Norwich last season, I believe, but we haven't had anywhere near the consistency of Bale's free-kicks since he left. There are very few players in the world that can hit the target from a set-piece as well as he did for us.

Our players can't even get a shot on goal. Always over the goal or into the wall.

Reading the statement on the official page, I’m not sure they really said he was injured. Rather that because of the injury, he hadn’t had any pre-season, and thus was not match fit.

He said in his interview with Crouch that he wanted to get match fitness back etc, didn't sound anything like injuries.

Or we’ve given RM first dibs on Kane as part of the Bale deal.

I don’t know why (well I do but that’s another story) I can see Kane having his nose put out of joint with Bale coming back. Such delicate flowers these football types.

That didn't do you any favours mate.

Tbf that was for a brief period when we had no chance.

As soon as we had a chance, people were unhappy that we weren't taking it.
As soon as we were taking it, people were unhappy that we hadn't completed it.
As soon as we completed it, people were unhappy that we hadn't announced it.
As soon as we announced it, people were unhappy for some other reasons. Probably related to the owners or something. Where's that bloody striker.

Of course your right. Kane has no ego or ambition. I mean it’s not like he goes knocking on levy’s door if he’s unhappy / not getting what he wants. Right?

And what he wants would definitely not be quality signings to take us to next levels?

If he was to join Real Madrid he would obviously demand they sell some of their stars?

Christ. This is bonkers.

If I were Harry Kane my reaction to Bale's signing would be:

"Finally!! Some fucker in the team that might actually be able to provide me with some decent service!"

I would imagine there is an AWFUL LOT of mutual respect between Bale and Kane. Both natural finishers, both have a very intelligent game, both world class.

If these two click, (which I should imagine they are relishing the opportunity) they'll be absolutely deadly.

I can imagine them setting each other up for fun tbh.

Kane slides a through ball and probably will think, "Go on Gareth get on the end of that fucker mate!!"

Bale skins a man, pings in a cross and probably thinks, "Where are you, H?! Smash that one in!!"

I doubt there'll be any animosity.

I wager that they cannot fucking wait to play together, because both will enhance each others game. Kanes passing to runners etc, Bales delivery and vision etc.

If they stay fit, and providing no **** tries to hack them, as a pairing they'll be fucking lethal because they both have the intelligence in their game and self awareness to realise the above.

This. Bale loves an assist still. Can see him and sonny swapping wings so he can play off the left to cross some in.
