He hasn’t been training?
nah, they just don't like him.
He hasn’t been training?
The premier league clubs are more 'covid' safe in terms of having regular testing, safer training facilities, medical staff due to money. Ultimately if someone has tested positive - Public Health England would be informed - who would advise - if noone else has to self isolate then I would be fairly confident that they havent came into close contact with him. Also with League 2 teams not being tested regularily we dont know how long the infection has been spreading. With Gundagon - if he got tested Monday and was negative - but tested Wednesday positive - they would look at who he has been in contact with for those days - and deal with the consequences - for Leyton Orient they cant do that. With regards the difference between that and Leyton Orient - we dont know the exact number that has tested positive but it looks like a lot more than a few.
Apparently it can take between 3 and 5 days after infection, for the virus to show up in tests. Gundagon may have been in contact with the source as long ago as last Thursday. He could have been contagious for all of that time. So it isn't just the days in between negative and positive tests that you have to worry about.
But this is football and common sense and what is right do not mix? This happened in the egg chasing on Saturday. French team had positives and Leicester were put straight into the SF.
Just saying.
I am astounded that the EFL are not required to take the COVID 19 tests. This goes beyond football as it does affect all, with the players having families and friends in the wide community. What rules were put in place by the government for the EFL to restart post the lockdown? Surely there are rules and guidelines. The EFL is not immune to this virus and is acting very irresponsible to put it mildly.
Official?Looks like the game for tomorrow is off and we’re announced winners.
Official?
Orient is my other team and not sure if it’s been mentioned that in Embleton’s post match interview after Mansfield on the weekend he mentioned that a number of players have been unwell. He stressed it wasnt Covid related but it’s a bit of a coincidence.
Yeah we should get put through to the SF too thenThis happened in the egg chasing on Saturday. French team had positives and Leicester were put straight into the SF.
Just saying.
I'll wait until official club channels (either one) put out a statement. I suppose the good news is no fans travelling are affected. Annoyingly it's the shortest trip for us this week. ?Journo talk on Twitter atm but it looks like it
