Ndombele completing 90mins will be (pardon the pun) a weight lifted from his shoulders.

Really believe he can push on from here and cement a first team place going forward.

I feel like this is the first true performance we've had from Ndombele. I wouldn't say he has dictated the game (because Lamela, Son and Lo Celso have all play a big part) but he has affected it a lot. Prior to this, it was just flashes.

We really need to add more quality in midfield. Even with the signings we’ve made ( and hopefully more to come) our midfield will be our undoing over the course of the season.

I said before that Jose just needs to play him. If he's blowing just push him on more.

I don't think he's lazy, I just think he's one of those ppl who doesn't have the inner desire to push himself 100% of the time. Like he thinks he's tired so can't keep going but just needs someone pushing him.

Having said that with Lo Celso on he's got a player who is moving more and taking some of the burden off of him.

Second striker needed urgently otherwise it will be another season with a empty trophy cabinet unless kane can play every single game

It must be so hard for pro players to play competitive games in an empty stadium.
There's just nothing to inspire them at all.

All things considered I thought we did well there.

Agreed.

Even with Skriniar, Bale, a striker and Reguilon.

If I was Jose after that I'd be saying the team is now able to challenge for honours, BUT adding another CM allows us to challenge for ALL honours because the minute we lose Lo Celso or Ndombele and we'll have more struggles.

Reminds of the Norwich game where he was so good and kept creating until the last minute of the match

Don't really understand the funny or optimistic rating. The performance was very much like the 2-2 Norwich game where he was arguably man of the match and got better and better as the game went on, much like tonight.
