That's a shame, a good amount of money coming in would be helpful I guess:

Seen this posted in another thread but not in here, so

Mourinho, Milan Skriniar and the squad he wants

...

Coming through the door Mourinho still wants a new top level centre-back and another striker.

When it comes to the centre-back, Mourinho wants Milan Skriniar from his former club Inter Milan and football.london understands that the Slovakian is very keen to link up with the Portuguese in north London.

Tottenham have been in talks with the Italian side in recent days but cannot currently get them down from their valuation of the player, which currently stands at around £45million.

football.london understands Spurs are looking at a deal closer to £32million and then with add-ons on top to sweeten the deal for Inter.

The problem for Tottenham is that they need to raise funds for player sales to complete such a move and have offered players, including Juan Foyth, to the Serie A side in exchange but Inter have thus far rejected those proposals.

Spurs are hopeful they can bring Skriniar to London before the end of the window but they will have to get some players out of the door first.

Tottenham have also looked at Benfica defender Ruben Dias but his price tag is far beyond Skriniar's and their capabilities.

Don't think I've ever read a reliable football insider article before, but they've put their neck out here

"Tottenham have been told Inter Milan will significantly drop their £55million asking price for Milan Skriniar after new talks today, Football Insider understands."

It's a strange one because it's often super hard to tell who's even writing their stuff and 99% is bullshit, but occasionally they pop up with early team or injury news and stuff which makes it seem like maybe there's at least one actual journalist writing for them.

In this case, I'm going to believe that they're spot on because I want them to be :)

Broken clock and all that haha... Nah tbh reading Ally's article from earlier, the price he quoted Inter wanting is less than 55mil, so it's actually not that groundbreaking. Ah well, back to refreshing for me!

One of our suppliers in Italy is a massive Inter fan, and I would say that he would think anything more than €5 and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps was a massive waste of money. He is truly shocked at how poor Eriksen has been.
He’s hoping that any money we give them for Skriniar will be put to better use in buying Kante

Imagine that, money we spend on Skriniar helps to weaken the dirty chavs

Lol, the shock if “footy insider” are first on this before Fabricio, Di Marzio, or any of our ITKs.

That fee does seem a bit steep for a CB who isn’t first choice at the moment though. All the movement has at least been positive.

Ridiculous how much I want us to sign this guy despite never having seen him play; or watched a highlights reel; or even heard of him until a few weeks ago.

I want all the players.
