That's the trouble with changing managers so often, you end up with an array of different players all suited to different systems, on high wages and they then expect the new manager to fit them in.

We are lucky that we seem to have an actual plan this summer and are assembling a squad with depth and ability to play several different positions/formations.

I am pretty sure West Hams transfer activity is based on Football Manager though with some of the signings they have made in recent years.

Let's be honest, regarding transfers the biggest problem they have is that no one is actually scouting players based on their needs.

West Ham bid £33m for Fofana!
Well actually it’s £22m plus £11m on performance based add ons...
And actually that’s £22m is spread over 6 annual payments...

That's what I was thinking. We're paying over £30m a season for our stadium and they're paying £2m. Covid won't impact other stadium events for them because they don't have any. Where is their TV money going? Are their wages really that high?

Plus how much did they make from selling their old ground and the land? Where has that money gone?

If they were smart they would cash in on Rice I think.

If Diangana does well at West Brom I’d fancy making a bid for him in the future just to troll Mark Noble... :sneaky:
