Well who says Rodon is for two years away? Not sure where that narrative has come from. If Dier is injured and Tanganga is hurt too then we have Toby and Sanchez (Davies is a plug in at best). We’ve historically done a way better job of finding Premier league ready talent from lower divisions than we have from Europe.
Well the fact this wasnt rushed through on deadline day to get him registered for the games he would most likely actually play in suggests to me isnt ready.

Have we had the debate about how to pronounce his name yet?

Looking forward to calling him Rotten when he concedes his first penalty

Rod on is definitely my preference if we can have a choice. Puns galore

He’s almost 23 and an international. Why would he only play in the Europa league? Maybe they are looking at him because he has a skill set that we don’t have? Maybe Mourinho wants a defender that is dominant in the air? Maybe he wants a defender that will step out and pro-actively defend rather than someone that will back off or cover against balls in behind?

Has he not missed the deadline to be included in the EL squad?

Just part of another clean-sheet for Wales. 6 in a row in competitive games now. Played centrally in a back 3. Very assured against an admittedly poor Bulgaria side.

Don’t buy the idea that if he comes in now he won’t play. Arguably the best centre-half in the championship and has stepped up to international football with total ease. Already Wales’ best centre half. Also the fact that he plays left-sided centre back and since Vertonghen has gone none of ours are particularly comfortable there so I think he’ll really fancy his chances of playing. Hope we get this done.
