Now, can we all keep our mouths shut for 48 hours please until we have got the Burnley game out of the way. No getting ahead of ourselves please.

Unless a miracle happens I can't see Manchester City fighting for the PL title.

Right now Arsenal, Chelsea and United are fighting for one spot at top 4.

Leicester, Leeds, Aston Villa and Everton will def drop down in term of performance after December. Whoever gets more consistency after Christmas will be able to reach top 5.

Unless we fuck up badly, we can reach top 3 comfortably.

Fight for the title ? Too early to say.

I think the teams who are most likely to win the league are those who can improve the most over the season and I think we are high up in that group.

PEH and Ndombele are getting better with every game. I expect Bale to be near his best by Christmas.
Europa should see Vinicious and Rodon getting up to speed.

I expect all the traditional top six to improve due to bigger squads etc, but still think, along with Chelsea, we have the most scope for improvement over the season.

Rodon isn't in our Europa squad he never signed early enough

I'd still count Everton in the top 4. No European football, great summer business and a world class manager.

The key is that we arent mother fuckers. We play too clean and we play too fearful. When oppositions are about to make a momentum change we should kick the fuck out of them. Im sorry but i rather we win as villains than lose as heroes. Too many times when momentum is about to change our balls shrink instead of fucking the oppositions up

Too insecure and average at the back to win the league (apart from Reguilon) ; the goalkeeper, midfield and especially attack are as good as it gets. So basically we are 1 or 2 top defenders away from a genuine title challenge.

We will finish in the top four though this season.

From 19/1 this morning to 11/1 now... gutted I didn’t put money on us winning the league sooner.

I genuinely think we’re going to do it.
I backed Spurs at 66/1 in my each way yankee for the English league winners. Got Reading at a long price too ?

We win the next three and we'll be in a title race this season.
We're already 5 points behind Everton. If they win today if we end up challenging they will be up there with us. They have no European fixtures this season. Same XI every fucking week. Could be like the Leicester & Chelsea nightmare scenario all over again.

Only saving grace is their keeper will cost them a lot of points.

This is why I was actually hoping we would have finished 8th last season. No Europa isn't great for trophy hopes but if you get lucky and get a season when everyone is shit you can put a good run together and no Europe can really help.

How can you not see City fighting for it? Everyone's dropping points and they're on the same points as us. It's wide open but i'd say Liverpool will pull out ahead now Allison is back. I think we'll be top 4, but not the title for me.

League is wide open this year. This Burnley game is so important. We have to start strong and make sure we do not get complacent. No more stupidly throwing away leads.
