I’ll be honest, coffee deprived eyes misread your post as saying he’d leave next summer, which I personally think is almost an impossibility.

Fair enough. I agree he is unlikely to leave next summer, not just because of how much he would cost, but also because I think we are showing the type of ambition to convince him that we will be competing for the big prizes. It was a great summer and there is a feel good vibe at the club again.

I feel like Kane has assumed his final form and it's fucking epic.
I thought that 2 or 3 years ago, but he just gets better, and better, and better. He has some insane ability to be able to adapt his game to perfectly suit how he is feeling in a physical sense, on a game-by-game basis. I don't think I've ever seen a player do that as seamlessly as he does.

suspect Kane will be with us until 2023 minimum...or sign a new deal
think about the difference a fully fit and firing
Kane makes - easily between CL and not. In one year that is a 100 million difference.
zero point Levy letting him go with those sorts of numbers in mind.
Plus suspect we will have Bale for 2 years so until 2022 at least there will be a Kane/Bale/ Son front group - Levy will keep his chips on the table

Kane finally getting a rest!
And he has genuine competition for his place so he’s upped his level to beast mode, if he can stay fit this is his and our year.
Ends in one as well...

Why do you lot like talking about this so much, can't you just live in the moment and enjoy what we have now?

My bad. I did say it was off-topic but it was more of a philosophical question, is there anyway Kane could leave and people not hate him for it?

I expected him to leave ages ago, and anything from this point on is a bonus for me so don't mind if or when it happens. It was just a though off of SMC's post.

Now we actually have a squad that Kane can believe in to win trophies and a world class manager who's been there and done it there's no point him leaving.

He is a good trainer. Apparently at England everyone marvels at how good he trains. It’s why players like sterling and Grealish respect him so much. He could train and be good at any position. He’s like Ledley and bale. Not Just good in their position but good intelligent footballers.

I feel that he's back at to his best. I am not saying he was bad but he looks like a fucking Prime Pelé at the moment.

I can clearly see he has the belief again. He has the belief on the team, something that I think he had lost a while ago.

If we manage to get silverware this (UEL or FA Cup) I can clearly see him staying for another season.

Back to his best? This is the best he’s ever been and that’s scary!

I personally cannot see him leaving anytime soon. Can't see he will want to. Without putting the kiss of death on shit, I really believe we will win something this season. Who knows we may go all the way.
Time will tell.
Believe people.

It's not just winning a trophy that Kane is aiming for. By the time he retires I think he will be desperate to achieve the following...

1. All time Spurs top goal scorer
2. All time EPL top goal scorer
3. All time top goal scorer for England
4. Win a trophy at club level
5. Win a trophy at international level
6. Win the ballon d'or

If he leaves Spurs then the top 2 on that list are gone (assuming he goes abroad)

The only ones what would be easier are a trophy and ballon d'or but right now both are achievable at Spurs, especially with Jose in charge.

If Harry retires having achieved the top 3 on that list then he will go down in history, an FA cup or a Primera Liga winners medal won't do that.

And winning a trophy with Spurs will mean a lot more to him that with another club.

Finally, he is a real family man and uprooting a young family unnecessarily doesn't seem his style, so hopefully we will be at Spurs for many more years to come.

Oh joys, can't wait till that comment gets constantly twisted and bought up by rival fans.
