It wasn't beautiful but it was a great win. Burnley are a tough and well drilled side. Alderweireld MOTM for me. Blocked everything today and fought Barnes for 90 minutes.

Great to see Gio back and Rodon got his first minutes. Lamela was an injection as always. Son + Kane are the best forward pairing in the league atm.

Edit: Shout out too Sissoko for digging in the trenches all match.

Excellent win against horrible opponents. Will be glad to see them go down.

Hugo, Toby and Hojbjerg were great. Kane on the top of his game.

Makes you sick to think that we should really be on 15 points now if not for that shit show against West Ham and the bullshit pen call against Newcastle.

On the balance of play, we didn't deserve that victory - Burnley played their normal dogged game again and closed down space well. For our part, we didn't look to move enough and the play looked very turgid for the most part. It is, however places like this where you need to get 3pts, and we haven't done enough of that in the past. Good win.

Get in. Hard fought win. A lot of lessons learnt.

We’d be top if it wasn’t for a bullshit pen decision and last’s week fuck up.

Burnley are terrible. Just one awful outdated tactic, zero skill
Hope they're relegated and sucked into nothingness

That last 10mins was horribly uncomfortable to sit through :)

Why do we watch football? So many more sensible things out there. COYS.

EDIT: Would probably have been happy with 4 points from West Ham and Burnley if you had asked me last week ?

Davies motm Thursday, pretty poor tonight. Thought Dier and especially Toby were very good.

You can see why Sanchez wasn't involved tonight. Loads of high, long balls dealt with superbly, especially by Toby. I think Davinson's great but if there's one thing that gives me nightmares it's a ball falling out of the sky towards him with a big burly centre forward bearing down on him.

I thought Toby had a brilliant game tonight. Headed everything all night long. And after picking up a nasty cut too.
Possible MOTM
Liked NDombele on the ball also.
One of them for me
