I'm a big Davies fan, but thought he was poor today too.

Sissoko was fine, like completely fine. He is terrible in the air for sure. Many midfielders are to be fair. But I thought he moved around the pitch quite well today and he was shouting for the ball a lot. Even though some people here like to think he 'hides' from games. For me he wasn't great, but absolutely serviceable and did his job as you would expect (plugging gaps, supporting fullbacks in transition etc).

lol Davies and Sissoko will be in Jose’s top 5 players on the pitch tonight. Guaranteed.

we just don’t see the things they value in these players. It’s why he’s managing and we’re just twats on a forum

He really does, but second half he was better with getting into space rather than running behind an attacker.

What's he said?
just his post-match interview on Sky, his reasoning behind the changes, talking through Burnley's tactics, a nod to Pochettino when talking about Kane and Son, and cleverly calling out the referee for not sending off Barnes

This will be the only time I say this...

I am really enjoying Carragher praising us and saying he’d love to see Mourinho win the league to prove the naysayers wrong.

Lamela is great. What a player to have in the squad. Never stops fighting, is a ruthless b*stard. That tackle on McNeil was just what we needed. We weren’t going to be pushed over.

Oh no. We've pushed Arsenal out of the top half.

I honestly don't want pundits to talk us up as title challengers, and frankly we have a lot of growing to do if we were to challenge. Let's keep it to one game at a time.

True to an extent he filled the gaps. But what i cannot forgive is how he doesnt even jump for ball. U can be weak in the air, but u cannot not challenge and give your opponents a clear header.

He didnt jump for west ham first goal. He didnt challenge properly again for the Kane clearance bailout.

These are crucial moments that decide u win or lose a match

Jose praising the referee to the skies in his interview, I'm sure he done that to pre-empt Sean Dyche who's bound to complain about him in his interview, we'll soon see, he's coming up next.

I'll look at it again, but it's not uncommon to be caught out like that. Like if the opposition has jumped before you do, it's not particularly helpful to then jump, just to show you jumping. In any case, this does not make a bad player or a bad game. The reality is Sissoko might be tall but he shouldn't be marking an areal threat.
