That’s a proper shit away dressing room. I hope we take some notes back to the new WHL and amend our one accordingly!

Amusing he’s taking the piss out of them for all being on their phones.

Temporary because their tunnel is too narrow for both teams in Covid despite the fact they are going to physically assault us for 90 minutes they cant be next to each other in the tunnel.

Away dressing rooms tend to be tighter and shitter but funnily enough the social distancing rules meant that the Burnley away dressing room is now better than before haha

Any of the doubters from when he first joined still of the same opinion?

This isn’t to goad - I’m genuinely interested to hear your thoughts; good and bad.

Great to know you’re not fixed in your views. Similarly, I’d be just as curious if your thoughts hadn’t changed. Appreciate the answer,

P.S. If anyone can tell me who the fuck ’Amy of the doubters‘ is and why she joined that group, I’d appreciate it.

I was starting to think he was the wrong man after the Everton game and even at points of last season (combined with how disinterested and not ‘up for it’ some of our players had been looking), but I’ll openly say I was wrong and we could not have picked a better manager from what was realistically available really. He’d also identified an astute signing in Hojbjerg which has totally transformed us.

I wasnt impressed at all last season with how we were playing but always said id give him a chance. Everton game at the start of the season - I fuckin lost it... like what the hell, what was that performance about - slow, lethargic, turgid stuff.

He has certainly turned it around from that game. I really dont know what happened in that game, it wasnt just Bale signing - must have been more than that and maybe the players had a heart to heart and thought fuck that - that cant happen again ...

Ive been proved wrong clearly

It seems to me the players have recognised that Jose’s methods bring results and have bought in completely. I think they also sense there might not be a better time to win the league.
We’re in for one hell of a ride

Currently the best attack in the league, 3rd best defence, we have the top scorer, the top “assister”, Gareth Bale is gaining full fitness, 9 points from 9 away, and 2 ‘unlucky’ results at home against West Ham and Newcastle.

All incredibly positive so far, and the great thing is that José looks like he means real business!

At this point in the season, one could consider trying to win home matches. I don’t know how hard that is or isn’t to do, but could be one way to improve.

I was of a mixed opinion based on previous issues and by this poll i gave it a 'i will give it a chance'. After lockdown though and the restart of the league i was impressed with what he had done, the way we started to play and even the tactics used at times. Specifically the Arsenal and Leicester games where i saw some different tactics specific to the teams we were playing. It just showed some great intelligence and not afraid to mix things up and play to our strengths, i really enjoyed poch being the manager but one thing he failed to do was change things up when needed and adapt based on the teams we were playing against. He had his methods and stuck by them, Mourinho has his as well of course but seems to have multiple plans.

I am really hoping the positive attitude can continue and he keeps pushing the squad and what a great squad it is.

Spot on 1,000%!

It’s funny isn’t it that a manager who’s won over 20 major trophies, 2 CL’s, titles in all of the major football leagues actually has good squad management, in-game decisions, understands the ingredients needed to win etc funny that isn’t it!

Jose is on a mission to prove those who wrote him off, long way to go obviously but with the squad we have a Jose seeking to prove a point is a very dangerous Jose. This season could be huge for us.

Its the first Time I’ve really ever looked at the club and thought you know what we are A big swinging dick machine of a club now. Stadium, training ground, squad depth quality and experience the like of which we’ve never seen and to top it off the serial winner world class manager in Jose Mouriniho.

Buzzing.
I have previously been unimpressed and critical of the whole Mourinho project, but my opinion has completely changed over the last 4 to 5 weeks, where i look forward to watching us play again, my optimism has grown considerably and I've been proven wrong regarding Mourinho.

On what I've seen, i believe we have a decent chance of winning something this year.

When the year ends in 1 and all that bollocks. You never know!

This guy is the real deal. Something is happening here. The players are starting to believe.
The fact that he said there wouldn't be a hatful of goals in the match and then being proven correct will add to their regard for him, which I'm guessing is already pretty high (to put it mildly).
